  • It's sad how people only look at appearance on these vids. Yeah, he doesn't look the part but he is an epic guitar player. I am a die hard metal fan, I play guitar, but I am also clean cut, no tats, and I wear a suit to work every day. It's the heart, not the mohawks, tattoos and rock band t-shirts people.

  • ill buy that guitar from you. Would you sell it?

  • for me you are posessed by the randy rhoads spirit xD

  • YOU BEAST

  • You. Fucking. Shred.

  • Amazing man really you have some awesome talent! Any pointers for me? I've been playing for approx. 3 yrs i can learn any rythym you put in front of me but I lack the excersises to get my speed up and scales are so boring. I do my scales but man they are boring . I have only about 7 hours practice time a week.

  • sexy

  • Loving this cover...man you are a fucking great player!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • whats the price range for that Randy Rhoads V

  • @jacoblroark $2400.00 Gmw guitar works dude

  • Ga.. How does that tremolo bar not knock your tuning out? Sandoval guitars are bad about that.. unless you've got a Floyd Rose.. but I can't tell from here.

  • Congratulations! You are an amazing guitar player and that is one of my favourite Ozzy songs. I'm a drummer/programmer (as a hobby) and trying my very first baby steps at learning guitar (not easy).

  • awesome guitar work!

  • i would love to have that guitar if it had a floyd rose

  • @guitarshreder91 if u look close enough u can see the floyd i think i dont see the other lock in system

  • @hahaurgay77 i don't think its a floyd, its like the same bridge thats on a stratocaster

  • Damn dude your awesome, Keep up the good work

  • MORTON ROCKS! "(My parents said I could play guitar in the basement at a reasonable volume")

  • no he didnt like the sandoval v

  • 10 yrs fuck dude dont stop ur awesome

  • 10 yrs fuck dude dont stop ur awesome

  • fantastic

  • man do u did really well. may i ask where did u get that replica guitar at?

  • Its a company called GMW Guitars. They actually made the guitar zakk wylde plays that looks like this. Its about $2000 base price then addittions are extra.

  • men you are one of the bests guitarits about covers 5*

  • hope your making money with that geetar you are good

  • well done!

  • awesome!

  • dude! you rock!

  • 10 years really?!?!? man i cant resist not playing the song for over 2 minutes

  • You nailed it dude! Good Job!

  • Oh yeah, I love it! Damn, you're good. This is one of my favorite Ozzy songs.

You got Randy's Rhoads style down really well. Love the rhythmn and the lead parts.

  • nice guitar ;)

  • VERY GOOD MAN...and I know! Believe me I know. are you tuned a half step or whole step down. I used to play that in a band pretty much note for note but you have got that shit a bit tighter than I did. Awesome. saw OZZY with Randy at the Omni in Atlanta 3-17-82! Hail Randy !

  • i love watching you play

  • Awesome

  • nice job

  • wonderful playing. however i just found out not long ago that randy actually hated the sandoval V...it makes me sad because its so known with the rhandy rhoads name...and i used to like it alot too

  • I don't think that's accurate as he was having another Sandoval being made at the time of his death with a white body and black polka dots.

  • you may be right, afterall i didnt hear it from randy rhoads. i just read that he didnt like the sandoval or the jackson very much either because the big wing got in the way, and the sandoval got out of tune alot.

  • IF the sandoval went out of tune it was 'cause of the strat tremelo system that is has. I have never heard a non-locking vibrato stay in tune. Ever.

  • just because the trem is not locking duznt mean it will go out all the time. its all about the nut like graphite and brass works and everything has to be lined up the strings have to be straight into the tuning machines and the strings have to have space to move so u have to file the grooves slightly so they dont get caught up and go out of tune. for example of this technique listen to the 1st 2 van halen albums and the 1st 2 ozzy albums

  • dude ur an insane guitarist that was like perfect im a huge Randy Rhoads fan as well hes was so freackin good hed be proud of that

  • @Greenie007 hey man were did u get the sandoval thts beautiful and is tht a regular tremelo or a floyd with a double lock system im getting another rr jackson a gold and white i wanna get tht but cant find it

  • @Greenie007 And to add to that, as I recall reading in a Guitar World article, Randy actually didn't like his Jackson because of the shape of the fin. I don't think he hated his PDV.

  • @Greenie007 Awesome job because even Zakk butcher's Randy work sometimes and he's supposedly great? I think very good just like you my friend is more accurate. PS can you play No More Tears Zakk's best solo

  • @Greenie007 The reason he hated it was cause the damn whammy detunes the strings every time it was used XD

  • i think he was just unsatisfied about how it went out of tune a lot (if i remember correctly from reading)

  • send me link please i want to read about it

  • @IcedEarth13 How did you learn of that ? what did he hate about it ? and do you know what his favorite guitar was?

  • @guitarmessiah95 i dont remember, it was probably an interview with his guitar tech or something...but i do know that he preferred strats, but they didn't have enough beef to them so he played the les paul. so my answer would probably be the les paul. im sure he liked the jackson concorde too, maybe. idk

  • @IcedEarth13 wow i've only seen him with a strat in one picture but you can make a strat sound just as beefy with the right strings, amp, effects, pick ups and tunnings

  • WHAT?! are you saying the truth?where did you read that?

  • @reallyguitarhero are you referring to the strat comment? yes its the truth to my knowledge. he played everything from SG's to dean ml's back in the day before he was ever famous...in high school and such. i saw only 1 picture of him with a ml, its awesome though haha

  • @IcedEarth13 he liked it in the quiet riot years

  • nice guitar

  • Dude!! That was way better than an attempt! It was excellent...!

  • damn good!

  • Nice dude. Is that a GMW? Or is it the sandoval. You did it really nicely too.

  • You rock Milton!

  • AWSOME!!!! If you aren't in a band you should be.

  • I am currently in a band, but we don't do this song unfortunately. We do Crazy Train, I Don't Know, and Suicide Solution. Thanks for the great feedback!

  • you rock man

  • i brought that stapler from home

  • Not sure where you see a stapler. LOL

  • it was a reference to the office space comments a couple of people made earlier

  • @Greenie007 Dude I forgot about you... You're pretty awesome :D Have you seen Office Space? I'm sure you know that he was making reference to Milton... You do kinda look like him XD

  • @Greenie007 I think he's saying that you look like the stapler guy from "Office Space"......which is actually kinda funny because he's kinda right, lol. Anyway, you did this song pretty well. Kick ass, man!

  • @jeff008thepunk Officespace lol

  • engineer rock

  • it sounds like if its untunned.

  • How did u do that at 2:50? Cool trick, i never figured out how to do it... Great playing BTW!

  • sweet sandoval dude

  • good job, i'm impressed

  • Your playing is better than beer, way better than pizza~ almost as good as sex.

  • I now believe in reincarnation lol

  • Kudos! I like that a lot!

  • tell me where you got that plz

  • Amazing. if i weren't watching, i'd think that was Randy playing.

  • That sounds amazing! Are you in a tribute band?

  • Dude, Awesome. thats just amazing. great job!!

  • If you haven't played this song for over 10 years, it's impressive that you can still play it bang on. I too am someone with some serious talent who doesn't look the part but sometimes looking the part isn't reflective of underlying talent. Rock on Dude!!!!

  • gotta post again, FUCKING AWESOME!

  • I don't give a fuck..this bastard WHALES...hits the Randy solo better than I've ever heard...good for you my brother in arms...and THANK YOU...

  • Nice job man! Loved seeing this played on the dotted V too! I have a "virtual band" here on YouTube and we are looking at doing this probably next - glad I found your vid because I'm taking it as a lesson :)

  • welll all what randy had was a 64 customs shop les paul because of his fav guitar player had one and he had a 57 black beauty but anyways i seen one of the vs on ebay i guess it was one of the orginal 40 that were made for him it was goin for like 5 grand good cover i mean anyone can get good its just practice imean i practice for like 6 to 8 hoursaday

  • His white Les Paul was from 1974.

  • I'm assuming you like Randy Rhoads lol. You got two of his guitars. Where did you manage to buy them, i've never seen them in any store before.

  • Incredible!"

  • hey dude nice cover...but were did u get the sig. guitar??? cant find one anywere...

  • It's a Gibson Carl Sandoval Flying V or something.

  • A company named GMW that makes rock replica guitar builds them. From what I hear they are really well made.Zakk Wylde play on them. The Cost is around 2400.00 us to have one made for you and they have lots of different options too.I don't know if thats where this guy got it but i'll buy from them.

  • Had to give you 5 stars just for the guitar. Excellent job on the solo.

  • AWESOME!

  • insane guitar skills

    shitty basement xD

  • bad ass solo dude!

  • Judging by the number of frets it's probably a GMW or Sandoval not a Roman- I guess I answered my own question, to a degree.

  • fucking great !!!!! WOW thanks for the post

  • fuckin 10/10 nice job prolly 1 the best 1's

  • Is that the actual Sandoval or is that the Ed Roman model.

  • you're good as fuck. great solo!

  • great video, but every time i hear the solo in the actual song i can't help but think it sounds like van halen gone wrong

  • great job on the solo greens

  • damn good job. Luv the solo !!!!!!!!!

  • sounds good

  • awesome. randy would be proud.

  • close but you missed the Hibrid picking on the main solo riff, the reason it sounds close is due to the same guitar, Randy used this same V!

  • I know, I screwed up a lot of little parts. Hadn't played it in years and just recently sat to relearn it. I have fun playing it though.

  • whats the name of that guitar

  • Flying V Polkadot... dunno which maker though

  • karl sandoval

  • It might not be a Sandoval, theres been a few knock offs of the real thing, which is more likely the one he has.

  • i thought it was a jackson

  • its a sandoval the same luthier that made randys............check out the site sandoval guitars.

  • Actally he played his white jackson pinstripe on this song.

  • Nope Randy used that guitar Live as the main E flat tuned guitar, on the album he used the polka dot V and les paul, he just got the final white V when the album was finished.

Both Ozzy records where done pretty much the within a year.

  • Ahhh i get what your saying now. lol Sorry, i mistook your comment as saying the polka dot guitar was the guitar Randy used to play over the mountain live. Sorry for the misunderstanding.

  • hey man i was thinkn bout buyin 1 of these i was just curious..do you think it limits you on your stlye of playing and your riffs?

  • it wouldn't be different than any other guitar would it? i'm sure it wouldn't be the best choice if you wanted to play jazz or country but why not.
