So great game, one of the best on Megadrive, they take all the best of the MD and put it in the game ! Everything is amazing on this game from the graphics, to the music ! I miss those old games.
Holy crap, I haven't played this game in FOREVER!! It was the third game I had ever played. The firsts being The Lion King and Sonic 2. Sega was the shit back then!
This game is so good. The sprites were drawn by the artists at Disney and digitised from Cel animation by the guys at Westwood. The music was great. It was challenging, but not frustratingly so. One of the best games on the Megadrive. I used to rent this game constantly from my local shop. Loved it.
@whintake Ahhh I didn't know there was a SNES version, as I've only seen a friend complete it on his Megadrive. I'll have a nose around for the Nintendo longplay. Big fan of Disney (and Megadrive) here.

Without a doubt, the SNES version of this game was way better. Not to say that this gmae doesn't have its moments, but the SNES version was just a lot more fun and varied, I mean you had the level in which you had to escape the lava on the Carpet, enough said.
I've always loved the color palette and style used in Genesis versions of most cartoon based games compared to SNES versions which always lacked detail and usually always had a "pastel" type palette used.
I was a SNES fanboy growing up since I owned one and didn't own a Genesis, but now as an adult and owning a Genesis I really appreciate and respect the SEGA Genesis alot. Also personally I love FM tunes more-so than I do SNES "wavetable". If I want sound samples I play Amiga games. :D

OMG I remember my cousin and myself constantly restarting my Genesis to see that Sega logo and laugh hysterically at genie shooting Iago out of the sky. Old school :)
Ah, back in the games where Disney tie-in movie games were GOOD. Back in the days where they weren't afraid to push the difficulty barrier just a bit further, while still maintaining the integrity of the game play. A pox upon modern game designers and their ideas of movie tie-in games. I say a revolt is in order.
I remember a different ending... While fighting Jafar, he goes to it's ultimate form. Which is a big snake, and you need to walk on it's tail and hit him in the face. Could this be the SNES version i been talking about?
Secret in the Desert level and any other lever where you see a pair of Mickey Mouse ears hanging on a clothesline. If you stop Aladdin just before the Mickey ears so that his next animation has him lean forward so it looks like he's wearing the Mickey ears, you gain a extra life.
ok what exactly is the diffrence between this and the genesis version??

Snes & MEgadrive version are alike, thus i like SNES sounds being more soft.. Not so "scratchy" (?) like Megadrive's version.
