Dani is an awesome drummer, he's had an influence on my own style recently with his ride patterns over double bass, tricky shit to get down. Playing along to some of his songs beats the hell out of me (The Saints / Paint A New World).

I'm glad he's with Helloween. Ingo and Uli were great too, and now that Dani is here I couldn't be happier.

I cannot understand how people can judge someone's performance based on a drum video with such a bad audio recording. Bass drum is absolutely inaudible, snare and toms are overpowered by cymbals and the whole thing just messy. How can you even judge anything?

They're drums. Stewart Copeland was one of the first, it not the first to use them. They have a beautiful percussive sound where the pitch or tone is determined by the length of the drum itself. The shorter the shell, the higher the pitch. The longer the shell, the deeper the pitch. Mike Portnoy uses them as well. In fact, if you go to the Tama website, you can find more information about them. Mind you though, they are pretty pricey.
