  • Nice rifle! I had to tear down a barn to get mine [as payment]. The rifle was captured by a paratrooper from the 11th Abn in the Philipines. The ammo is easier to get, or make from .308 I think.

  • I have one! It's was brought back by my Dad's Uncle after the war! I have never fired it. I recently found some ammo for it at a $1.00 per round!

  • @meandean222 You're lucky, I had to pay $1200 for mine, and that was back in the 90s.

  • @Shep0815 , As a kid I took that baby apart and put it back together so many times, I probably could have done blind folded. Right now, it's locked in an antique Secretary I've been looking for the key for since I bought the ammo! I've found a site that sells the most common skeleton keys for around $40.00. I can't wait much longer so I'm going to go for!

  • Don't see many of the paratrooper take downs

I got mine a few years ago from a guy at a flea market. I asked him what he wanted for it and he said he paid $100 for it but make an offer. I said $75 and he said OK....Pretty funny
