Vamos combinar que o samba é uma dança ULTRA pobre, sem coreografia...se eles fossem fazer o SAMBA brasileiro iria ficar ULTRA sem graça,nem na dança dos famosos do Faustão, esse ritmo entra,porque coreograficamente falando não teria graça nenhuma,então os britânicos e americanos colocam uma música com ritmo mais ou menos de samba e coreografam como eles acham melhor...deixa,pelo menos divulga o SAMBA (pelo menos o nome rsrsrsr)

@dejota2991 SAMBA não é uma dança ultra pobre e ultra sem graça. Na verdade, exige do dançarino grande esforço pois é um dos rímos mais difíceis da dança de salão. E se nao aparece na dança dos famosos é pq aquilo que eles apresetam, não chega perto da realidade da dança de salão. Então, faça algumas aulas e comprove vc mesmo!

@KKbrazil That so called but shaking is not what people meant here. There are several kinds of samba. What we dance here as ballroom samba is not only that, it's different. And much prettier than this thing they're dancing (whatever that is). They do look good, it's just sad to see such a beautiful rythm (can't spell that) lost while people around the world think that's what we dance over here. Too bad for them. Just search for "Samba de Gafieira" and you'll see the real samba.

That alone makes UK better than US! ;) But seriously, that Broadway number with Alastair and Mandy would stand up to ANY Broadway number in any country. It's that good. In fact, it's lightyears ahead of any Broadway that Tyce has choreo'd in the US series. The dance genre that might lag behind the US series would be the hiphop. Both were hiphop-lite, imo, and the hiphop specialists are not as skilled (esp Tommy and his tutting skills).
