The Razer Blade sucks, GT 555M, Dual Core CPU and only 256 GB storage (don't forget the OS and software takes 60 GB which only gives you about 196 GB space for all your programs and games). And due to the switchblade UI it only haves about 30 minutes of battery life. And because it's Razer it will be totally overpriced. It can't even play BF3 on low settings fluently and there's no cooling system for the GPU. Razer Blade sucks!

Skyrim even runs silky smooth on my M11x! 30 to 40 FPS on highest settings, even during combat. :)

@ChapaRagez It will run your games until it overheats and then does an auto shut down in the middle of your game like it does when I play Borderlands or Fallout. And you might get BSODS when setting your laptop to hibernate or coming out of it like my M15x does. No more Alienwares (or any Dells) for me. I'll try a Sager laptop or maybe ibuypower laptop next time.

@jacobljlj I'm a field engineer and have been working on PCs since 1995 and building since 2000, and IMHO Alienware *laptops* are overpriced, overheating, BSODing, and overhyped. In other words, they don't live up to their rep, esp. considering what you have to pay.

If I was 'unlucky' to get one bad model cause of "bad luck" my opinion doesn't change. I expect more for my hard earned money and Alienware cust. service's reply to my complaint was "sorry -- out of warranty, you're out of luck."

Honest Assessment: I've had an M15X for a year and I am seriously NOT impressed with the performance: BSODs within just 2 months of arrival, choppy framerates, and shutdowns due to overheating.

The only thing installed is games, MS Security Essentials and Malwarebytes Anti-Malware. Used for gaming only.

I expected MUCH more for what I paid (USD $1,400) and the "Alienware" reputation.

I will definitely NOT BUY another Alienware. It looks nice though.

The major problems started 2 weeks after the warranty expired. I called tech support and they told me 'warranty expired so we can't help.' I called cust. service to ask about warranty extension and they told me '$350 to extend the warranty.'

I'm *never* buying Alienware again.
