I see so many people every day who are basically immobile, the sole reason appears to be they are FATBUCKETS. Maybe the government should encourage insurance companies to give BIG discounts to their insured clients, for meeting certain health markers (weight, bp, nonsmoker,etc).

Also what most people don't understand is that we should not be treating Healthcare the way it is right now. We should instead treat it something similar to Car Insurance. For example, I would buy a five year plan for lets say $30,000. Now this wouldn't cover small check ups (similar to minor fixes to cars), but would cover me if some horrific event would take place (similar to a car crash). Now what ever would exceed that $30,000, the insurance company would have to pay for.

One must remember that the Founding Fathers wished to avoid a huge Federal Government, and created the 10th Amendment to leave certain duties to the people and the individual states. Thus "50 laboratories" would occur, and states could learn the rights and wrongs from the other states.
Then it should be left up to the people (through electing their state legislators) to decide whether their state will cover those who are still not able to cover those even after the prices have come down.
In terms of Healthcare, some states restrict the people from that state from buying insurance elsewhere. For example, if I lived in California, then I couldn't buy insurance from Florida, therefore limiting my options to find the best deal. If those state restrictions were lifted, then it would force the insurers to have to come up with better deals or their business wouldn't succeed.
In terms of abortion, it never should have been a federal issues, but rather be left up to the states where the people decide (Read the 10th Amendment).

Ameritards, in general, are one of the most undisciplined when it comes to leading a healthy lifestyle. I see so many people every day who are basically immobile, the sole reason appears to be they are FATBUCKETS. Also the amount of people in this country who abuse drugs/alcohol/food, has to be one of the highest in the world. Maybe the government should encourage insurance companies to give BIG discounts to their insured clients, for meeting certain health markers (weight, bp, nonsmoker,etc).

I think the issue with most people was that Edwards charged outrageous contingency fees...more than most attorneys. Also what most people don't understand is that we should not be treating Healthcare the way it is right now. We should instead treat it something similar to Car Insurance. For example, I would buy a five year plan for lets say $30,000. Now this wouldn't cover small check ups (similar to minor fixes to cars), but would cover me if some horrific event would take place (similar to a car crash). Now what ever would exceed that $30,000, the insurance company would have to pay for.

One must remember that the Founding Fathers wished to avoid a huge Federal Government, and created the 10th Amendment to leave certain duties to the people and the individual states. Thus "50 laboratories" would occur, and states could learn the rights and wrongs from the other states.

In terms of Healthcare, some states restrict the people from that state from buying insurance elsewhere. For example, if I lived in California, then I couldn't buy insurance from Florida, therefore limiting my options to find the best deal. If those state restrictions were lifted, then it would force the insurers to have to come up with better deals or their business wouldn't succeed.

You are apparently ignorant on what partial birth is. It is my business & the supreme court has made a final decision on the matter. In case you don't know, partial birth is where a baby is born 1/3 of the way & then it's skull is crushed. Some doctors give anethesia to the baby because of the pain & suffering. So yea, I do have a right to say no to this....and thank GOD the supreme court ruled against it.

The term "god" or "creator" is a generic term. There is no reference to "Jesus", "Vishnu", "Yahweh", "Allah" etc. though. Many religions believe in a creator, even most Agnostics. But that DOES NOT make the teachings of Christianity the moral compass of what laws should be passed in the United States. We are a country WITHOUT religion. Consequently, some mention of a creator or a god doesn't mean we are a Christian nation!
