You mentioned this is a Travis Tritt song. Well Travis did make a hit out of it. It was written and recorded the first time by Waylon Jennings. You can find his version here on Youtube.
Man im a 23 year old from a little twon in southwestern Ontario and you guys a a huge thing this way i think it would be to get you guys out this way i would do anythingto help you guys just know real music when it needs to be played
now i may be 12 but i still know wat real bluegrass is my grandpa has partys here and there and they play bluegrass and this is the real deal for those who dont think it is GO 2 HELL
well im only 13 years old and i know this is bluegrass because my stepdad is has played with tons of famous people so i know what real bluegrass sounds like.. and they got it down
The real deal hah, what the fuck makes you an expert on bluegrass were you born in tennesee or kentucky,Ive been into bluegrass and country for thirty yrs. I know whats the real deal and whats not.
Yeah idiot I am from Kentucky my Grandmother just happened to be Bill Monroe's neice you spastick and I do know something about Bluegrss and Country Music.
TOO NASAL?!?!?!? You have no idea what you're talking about. This is bluegrass. Terry Eldridge is the real deal. Period. If you don't like bluegrass, then fair enough. But this is the real $hit. Dig it.
I've seen them live and thought their vocals were fair at best and the guitar work stunk and I mean Grinch stink, stank, stunk bad. Neither guy can play lead at all and the rhythm playing was beginner level. Look at just the rhythm guitar work of guys like Josh Williams, Chris Jones, Cody Kilby, and Kenny Smith and compare them to the Grascals. The bass player and banjo player are very solid. The fiddler is freakishly good.
Had I not just seen them on Saturday I woulda been like "what the hell?" haha MacadameousMcDarris isn't in this one tho. THAT'S something to literally BOOO at!
Yep, it's certainly a Waylon song however I feel like Travis Tritt sang and played the song much better. Travis made it a hit song at #6 on the Billboard, Waylon's was #67, not that I'm taking anything away from Waylon.
That ain't no Tritt song, Waylon smoked it a long time ago !!!!!!!

Okay I agree they're bluegrass but like I said not as good as they others.Oh yeah they can strum a banjo but it takes a lot more than that....

Each ear has it's own sweet spot. Some people don't even like Willie, for God's sake. So, fair enough. But, like it or not, Terry is the real deal.

Yeah, they're not the real deal, especially since they won IBMA Entertainer of the Year twice, in a row. Can't be the real deal.
Tell me, what is the real deal for you?

Jimmy was darn impressive. I give credit where it's due. I remember a version of "Sally Goodin" he did that was incredible.
