Went to see Metallica in 94'...possibly the last time they were worth listening to tbh. Oddly i find AiC's last album to be pretty good even though obviously there's no Layne. Shows how good they were really, no Layne and they can still put out an album that kicks most of todays shit into space. Metallica on the other hand haven't done fuck all since Load...and that wasn't that great. Their documentry was actually better than any recent shit they put out to be fair.

Went to see Metallica in 94'...possibly the last time they were worth listening to tbh. Oddly i find AiC's last album to be pretty good even though obviously there's no Layne. Shows how good they were really, no Layne and they can still put out an album that kicks most of todays shit into space. Metallica on the other hand haven't done fuck all since Load...and that wasn't that great. Their documentry was actually better than any recent shit they put out to be fair.

Metallica has a secure place in music history so why does James feel the need to berate another music legend. Layne Staley was a gifted and tortured soul. AIC's work will always bring me comfort as an insight into the depressed and addicted mind. Metallica has written some great music but for my money I'll take Dirt as one of the best albums ever made.
