If you get one from a breeder, depending on the pedigree, they can cost upwards of $1000. I've never seen one from a breeder for less than $500. I got mine for $82 at the local shelter :D
Not all turkish angoras are pure white anymore. They can be of any color except the non natural colors such as lilac, chocolate, and the himalayan pattern. Also they have been known to display the similar markings of the Turkish Van having only markings on the face and tail.
I have an all gray angora. Keara. 3 years and counting.
