  • I love the idea of you having a little dwarf face-my children call me Dwarfie, not Mum. I am 54 and look much younger! Hey let me laugh with you not at you.

Know what you mean about not liking to hear yourself. I slur quite often and wonder if I sound drunk.

  • @gilbertduck Yeah, I end up slurring here and there because my mouth won't keep pace with my brain. I know what I want to say but sometimes I forget mid sentence. It can be funny but most of the time I just get angry at myself for it. (Especially when I'm making a video to teach and half way through I start messing up every other word.)

Being ill sucks... I'm sorry to hear you've been battling your own health for 30 years. It's a long time to deal with such an ordeal.

  • Hey, I have Systemic lupus, Fibro Sticky blood and Ehlers Danlos. Been ill 30 years, both adult children are the same. It is bizarre isn't it?

Never able to plan, have about one hour of useful life a day. Know what you are going through. Also with numb arms. You have talent and teach well. It takes bravery to talk about yourself, Well Done!

  • your awesome :]

  • This is kind of private so yeah

  • @cailincurrie2243 This isn't all that private. Anyone who has ever met me for more than five seconds knows I'm very sick. Unfortunately on camera I hide it so when I go a week without tutorials or more some get angry at me for being idle while I'm out "Partying and having fun" when the truth is I'm "Sleeping and visiting doctors" so I decided to talk about it.

  • I have a lot of health issues to I have grandmal seizures ,and a bunch of other stuff there is a list mile long I find that your videos help me deal with my health issues I have found u and your videos very inspirational keep up the great work and don't let any one get u down stay strong and Ty for making the videos that u do

  • I have the same thing as you, is just beginning, but, i know how it feels. I had a treatment with homeophatic remedies, it really helped me, it controls the hypofisis, that is the whole gland where the tyroid is located. I need to get plenty of vitamins, specially the liquid ones, pills are hard to digest. In my case, i dont gain weight but all the opposite. very very low weight and skinny. Maybe you may want to try some natural options instead of the traditional. hope you get better.

  • @amacardo Yeah... you've got the hyper-thyroid instead of the hypo-thyroid. Both are awful. Sometimes I wish I had the hyperthyroid because it seems easier to be thin BUT then you need to be scared of wasting away so I'm not sure which is the lesser evil in that case. They both are scary in their own way.

I'm not sure if hypo could be controlled naturally since I need the hormones... from what I've heard the natural thyroid hormones are very irregular and pretty dangerous.

  • You are awesome and talented and beautiful!. Stay strong, as you are cared about by a lot of people. And if you need any of the haters taken care of.. just lemme' know!

  • @raxxillion Aw, thanks. =3

  • I'd hate to ask, but... do you think they could possibly find cures for some of your diseases ?

  • @AnimalFreak43 Maybe they could... but it takes lots of money and people willing to research it. I'd like to think there's things that could be done but it would need dedicated people and the funds to make that happen.

  • I would never laugh at your life, I find it so sad that you have to deal with this on a daily basis :(

  • Stay strong, my fellow auto immune sister-sufferer. I'd never say I understand what you're going through, but I can say I can appreciate what your saying. I remember telling my doctor how unfair it was that someone can suffer with more than one auto immune disease at the same time. SUX! "Life is a running joke" so true!!! Love, Peace & Comfort. Laney

  • I'm not going to say feel better as that is obviously a stupid comment, but I am sorry for everything you have to go through. I think I have at least a low level of hypothyroidism and have to take medicine for it. Its not a big deal but still.

  • hi beyond bracelets. i love your videos and watch like all of them. i have 2 diseases. ehlers danloes syndrome and Congenital fyber type disproportion. i bruise with a touch and it never goes away. i am only10 and u r such an inspiration.

  • @AJfunvids Gosh... you're so young. I'm sorry to hear you have to go through that. =/

I think I've been sick for a long time... I started feeling sick around your age but my family didn't think I was sick. They just thought I was fat and ignored the signs of me being actually sick.

Anyway... I'm glad you find me inspiring. I didn't really realize how many people watching me had their own illness... it's sort of nice to see and hear comments from others dealing with medical issues.

  • I know this might be depressing but, are any of these life threatening? I hope not

  • @MsGeminiTwinz If my body kills my thyroid finally I'll need to be on medicine for it or else I could die without the hormones. So long as I have meds at that point I should be fine but if you go without for a long period of time you'd die from not having the hormones needed to survive.

I don't know about anything else. I'm slowly finding MORE illnesses as I continue to go to doctors for my declining health. It's just crazy that I go to them and I'm getting worse with each find.

  • i feel for you! i have an autoimmune disease too but you have inspired me to keep going! i love to craft and i just picked up how to do friendship bracelets because of you even before i saw this video!

  • @DaPenguin614 I'm glad I was able to give you some of the inspiration you needed to keep going... as well as introduce a new craft to you. Good luck!

  • Autoimmune diseases suck. They run in my family and I'm a sufferer as well. The weight, cysts, intestinal issues and carpal tunnel can all come from them. I can't lose weight and whenever I have a flare I gain weight. It's frustrating to know that your own body is betraying you. I recently had a flare and couldn't get my hands to do what I wanted. I took it out on a rolling pin and the wall. Keep your chin up, luv, and take it one day at a time.

  • @swetpmnkygrl Always taking it one day at a time. Sometimes two at a time if I can't sleep, though. Haha.

Have fun patching that wall up. I'd do that too but I'm too tired to fix the damage, lol. =x

  • @BeyondBracelets The wall was fine, but the rolling pin unfortunately did not survive LOL.

  • you have so much going on with your health, big hugs, ignore any haters commments that just means there jealous of what you do. big hugs...xxx

  • i ran out of space, i was saying it took a few yrs for her to feel 'normal' and she wont ever get better either but now she can see the light that she can cope better, plus are you having counselling for the condition, they teach you ways to mentally cope with your condition xxxx

  • wow im so proud of you for making this video, i have a friend with autoimmune syndrome and what a lot of people dont realise is shes not low immunity to virus around her own body is under attack from its own cells, that what makes her sick, shes on special suppressants to stop the cells in her body attacking her lungs . the meds make her have a whole load of side affects and over time its getting better. It takes time for the right does and combinations so keep your chin up!!

  • @BeyondBracelets Thank you so much for trying because your awesome and your inspiring because despite what your going through your helping so much people with the great videos you make 3

  • My mother has Rheumatism and a thyroid problem. Her immune system isn't the best, either. I pray for you and think you are a beautiful, gifted, and intelligent woman. Prayers and love!

  • @beyondbracelets

meh ill try or i could do an alpha pattren with your name on it and get some little stuff i could get like charm bracelet and etc.lol idk id figure it out

  • @BeyondBracelets

Okay ill try to make a pretty bracelet or something id find something and then you could do an opening video?maybe?i could try to send some of the braclets that you did videos on.?

  • @batmanfansXOXO I could do an opening video... I'd say try to make some unique items though. Sending stuff I've made videos on makes it a bit less "WOW" factor if the people watching have already seen it.

  • With or without ur diesease ur great! mind my spelling please

  • I kinda know what your going through. I have add and Depression. Plus 2 people I know have graves diease. every time I go for a check up on my medication they check for all sorts of things like that to make sure I don't have stuff like that cause thyroid and stuff goes through both sides of my family. you are very awesome, and wish you the best!! lots of hugs and prayers your way!!

  • I'm sorry that -3 was supposed to be a heart.

  • I am so sorry! And your life isn't a joke, in everyone's life there are complications. But I think you are a very very nice, and despite the way you are, and very dedicated person. You inspired me to start doing friendship bracelets again, even after Ive given up many times. I think you are amazing. -3 Thank you. :)

  • @pumpkin1816 I laugh at it because it makes me feel better than moping about it. It's easier to laugh it off than it is to cry IMO. I'm dehydrated enough without bawling... lol. =x

I'm glad I've inspired you to try again. They're pretty easy once you memorize the knots and tension you need for pulling. Luckily the tiny bracelets are just as pretty as the huge patterns... and sometimes I find the more simple ones to be more pretty. Good luck with it. =3

  • You are an inspiration to so many crafters, and I have gotten some crafting ideas from you, that I appreciate. Looks like many of us followers also have health issues too, crafting is such a great outlet to get the mind off the pain and some of the issues of dealing with life long illness. Thanks for all you do.

  • Im so sorry! If its really hard for you to do videos for us then we understand.... so if its really hard then just dont do them we totally understand!

  • @PutYourHeartsUp100 On good days I like doing videos... it's just sometimes I can go a week or two without a good day.

  • awww thats so sad! On the bright side, ur really pretty and very nice! :) Rock on!

  • @BeyondBracelets

Im soso happy you responded,I turned my labtop on and it said i got a comment reply by BeyondBracelets and i was like Omigosh!and then i seen it and i was so happy,Thank you for making my dayit was like a early birthday present cause my birthday is on feb 7.Im glad you still make bracelets but dont push yourself to hard.Keep makin em ;) i wanna make my own bracelet video any tips on getting people to watch?I posted anything yet but i will soon like do what you did start easy

  • @batmanfansXOXO Well happy early birthday I suppose.

As for getting video views... I don't know. I want to say it's just luck but honestly I don't know for sure.

Heck... I still don't know why people watch me... lol!

  • @BeyondBracelets

    Thanks :) lol

I know why you get so many views, cause your so good at making bracelets :)

What do you use to edit your videos and to video tape them i got a toshiba labtop and it has windows live movie maker, would that work to edit it the way you do?For my bracelet videos that i am going to make,i found out how im going to flim it on my labtop but im not sure?I was also wondering if i could make a bracelet and send it to you?like a package or something? Thanks for replying:)

  • @batmanfansXOXO Up until my last video (which I haven't uploaded yet) I used windows movie maker. It's very minimal but it gets the job done. As for the taping I have a video on that. Check this:

    /watch?v=Nt5yFPXuxFE

If you want to send me something you can, my P.O. box is listed on my channel. I haven't really gotten into reviews or anything but if people did send me things I wouldn't be against reviewing it for them.

  • Good Boyfriend:) i wish you the best

  • You are such an inspiration to me. I love logging on to watch your new video's. This video has really opened my eyes. I have PCOS too but I could never imagine my health affect my craftiness :-(

Thank you for all the tips I've used to better my own projects!

  • @anniemac251190 Yeah, the PCOS isn't that bad for me thankfully... I'm sort of concerned the birth control is giving me some extra issues though. Ever since I started on it to keep the cysts and pain away it seems my eyesight and everything else got worse. Not sure if it's related but it occurred within two-three weeks of starting treatment so despite my doctors saying it isn't I feel it may be.

(Can't stop taking them though, the pain is too much. lol)

  • Hey, got ur message to post on here instead of your blog :) Thanks for replying & I am married to a wonderful husband who is very understanding & supportive (I'm one of the lucky ones) I have 3 kids frm previs marriage & 1 baby with my current husband. :) take care & keep on keepin on! On my way to Rheumy, ugh

  • @kmccann1976 Sent you a PM. Just confirming.

  • What if you just get your thyroid gland removed?

  • @zengrenouille If I get it removed I'd have to take medication for the rest of my life... and if I missed the pills for a prolonged period I would die.

You can't live without the hormones from your thyroid (or pills) so if it's gone and you miss the medication for --- certain number of days--- then you would die from not having the hormones. They're important and they help your body function properly.

  • @BeyondBracelets It actually takes a very long time of not having the hormone to die. My mother had her thyroid out (in two parts) in the 90's. She hardly ever takes her Synthroid, and she gets on just fine. I'm going to have mine taken out if I ever get insurance that covers pre-existing condition. TBH, taking that little pill everyday is a lot better than having to deal with your body attacking itself everyday.

  • @zengrenouille Hm... I was reading if you don't take it your body will last maybe a month or so. Maybe it wasn't reliable but I still have this thing where I rather keep my organs. =/ lol

  • @catjhudora Yep, I've made them since I was 9 and I'm 24 years old now.

  • You have inspired me in so many ways, I have 2 blood clots one on my brain and one in my chest and it is very scarey...I also have 2 children that I have to worry about and I have loss twins recently. You are one person that motivates me to talk about things that I have been through. Yes the things that you are dealing with is very depressing, but this is who you are and as long as you accept yourself then that is all that matters in your life. Ive learned that a rough way. Take care <3

  • @mybabyangels2 I'm sorry for your loss. I don't have kids but... I can imagine if I did losing one would be difficult nevermind twins.

I'm glad I could inspire you as well as others.

  • you are so inspirational to me and everyone else who watch your videos.. thank you for all you do so we could watch your crafts! also, i love your crafts so much that i have made almost every one of them!! thank you for all you've done for everyone.

  • @SuperPutsky You're welcome. I like sharing what I've learned.

  • SO...YOU ma'am have the most amazing character. Like the vibe that you give is so driven and SO inspitational. You seem like a very strong person, like you go through alot and yet you have a spirit that keeps going.

  • @JCGirl24 I guess I'm pretty strong... and stupidly stubborn and against resting even when I need it. lol.

Heck, the day of my surgery I came home and was back to my old habits of answering comments... then a week later even in pain I was making videos because I was bored of laying in bed. Boyfriend was mad at me for it but I can't help it. As fatigued as I am I still run circles around him. It's hard to think I used to have even MORE energy than I do now. =/ lol

  • @catjhudora Well, I've only made "jewelry" for about 4-5 years now... so I still am getting the hang of it but I've been very proud of my creations... as for the friendship bracelets...

I've made friendship bracelets for 15 years... that's a long time... so I better be amazing at them by now. lol!

  • @catjhudora I'll definitely keep going. Ever since starting this channel I've started to realize how capable and organized I can be. It's been a huge confidence boost and it sort of confirmed that I am actually good at what I do.

Funny enough I hadn't started seriously crafting until about five years ago... I never really thought I was good at art but then I started small scale jewelry and it just stuck. I may not be a painter but I can make jewelry pretty well, I think. =3

  • oh my gosh sorry I thought you said you have Pecos sorry I heard you wrong now I get it pcos is what you were saying I'm like pecos I never heard of that?

  • @Chloey39 Haha, yeah. It's PCOS that I was saying. I found out about two years ago. It was weird because my blood test said I was fine, then they do an ultrasound and they saw the cysts. My autoimmune disease hid on blood tests as well at first... it's strange. My blood is ninja... it hides results for some crazy reason and makes it difficult for doctors to find things... and in turn makes me look "healthy" when I actually have stuff wrong. ._.

  • You mentioned in your video that you have cysts on you ovary's and have a hard time loosing weight. Have you had you r hormones tested because it sounds so much like PCOS (Polycystic ovary syndrome) . If you have a chance google PCOS and see if you have some of the symptoms and if so ask to be tested next time you see your doctor. You are so creative and I wanted to let you know I really enjoy your video tutorials :)

  • Don't give up hope, every year new discoveries are made and new cures are found - just because the doctors can't help you enough today, doesn't mean that they won't be able to tomorrow. Meanwhile, perhaps put your crafting skills to work on that mask problem - I bet you can figure out some way of reducing the air that gets blown into your eyes. Anyway, for sure your crafts inspire many, myself included, so please keep the videos coming whenever you feel up to it. You have many fans!

  • @GarageCrafter I think I just need to get a smaller mask. Unfortunately they don't let you lay down and test the mask fully... you sort of sit there still and they say,"Looks good" and that's that. I tried to lay my head on my arms and see if it would do it and it didn't... then I get home and the stupid thing is leaky. lol.

I think I'm due for a new mask this month... so hopefully I can find a different brand or something which will fit me better.

  • awww Don't worry at least if your a nice person and i know u are, nothing will happen to you. you are so sweet and you spend your time to make videos for us so that we can make some to. i hope you will always stay blessed and i hope u always will keep making videos... :)

  • @kittykatscratchfun I'll try to keep up with it all as long as I can. It may not be 'always' but I'm planning on sticking around for quite some time. Who knows, if I have kids maybe I'll pass it on to them. lol.

  • I have an autoimmune disease aswell, but mine attacks my muscles and sometimes my skin. It sucks i know, but you're amazing for continuing to do what you do <3

  • @TheEmilyMonsterXD Yeah... some days it sucks more than others. I get by though. Not much choice... I'm not the type to just lay down and die. I'm going to continue doing what I do until I really can't do it anymore. I am pretty sure I have quite a few good years left in me sick or not... so hopefully I'll be doing this channel as a long term hobby. It's really fun and I do enjoy helping everyone.

  • I feel SOO bad for you and wish i could help!I just wanted to tell you that you are an inpiration to me and i have tried so many crafts and have succeeded with most of them! I am so grateful that even when you feel horrible and painful, you use all of your energy just to make tuturials for us :)

  • @technokitty10 Don't feel bad. I rather be sick than healthy, it gives me a better outlook on life. If nothing was wrong with me chances are I'd take things for granted... being sick you feel grateful for the smallest things that most people would otherwise ignore.

Also... you're welcome. I'm happy doing tutorials. I can't really make bracelets myself anymore so it's nice to pass them along to others.

  • Bless your heart! I know a lady whose 24 year old daughter has the same thing. I think you are an amazing person for choosing to live life and not give up in spite of all you have to face. Please know you will be in my prayers! Sending you big cyber (((((((((((HUGS)))))))))))

  • @OneVeryHappyBird Well, life isn't going to wait for me to get better so I just have to go along with it. Some days I wish I could make it all go away but then I have one good day and it reminds me how lucky I am all over again. It's a pretty weird (and sometimes annoying) cycle but it makes me a bit stronger each time, I think.

  • you sound like your trying not to cry

  • @BrittanyMac14 Nah, I wasn't going to cry. Sure it isn't the most happy of subjects but I'm okay with it for the most part. The biggest reason I sound weird is because I was trying to be quiet so I didn't disturb my boyfriend.

  • OMG you have pcos???? me too :O i always feel like im the only one :']

  • @Stakira0nY0utube Yeah, it sucks. It's okay with the birth control (hormones) but without it man... hurts like hell.

I just had one of my cysts burst on me right before new years eve which makes me think I may need to switch the type of BC I'm on. Hurt more than anything I ever felt in my entire life. I couldn't even stand. Boyfriend flipped out... he didn't know what was wrong and even if I'm good with pain it made me cry so hard I couldn't even tell him what happened. =x

  • @Stakira0nY0utube The thing is... the pcos symptoms could go away. The thing that will never go away is the autoimmune disease. Unfortunately if I stop taking medicine for it the antibodies will kill my thyroid leaving me without one... then if I have no thyroid I will need to be on medicine. If I have no thyroid and don't take the medicine for it then I will die... not even could. You need the hormones from the thyroid (or if it's gone a replacement) for your body to function.

  • @BeyondBracelets well, even if its what doctors say that it wont go away, you never know. when my mom first got diagnosed with MS, she was told her eyesight was gone in her one eye.. yet shes still here, and her eyesight has actually improved in the last year. we all will keep you in our prayers!

  • @Stakira0nY0utube Well, I guess that's good to hear. Maybe there is a bit of hope but I'm not going to get my hopes up about it quite yet. So long as I don't get worse/unable to function I'm fine with the pills I need to be on and all that... but thank you for your prayers, it means a lot.

  • autoimmune hypothyroidism..ugh so many mood swings its horrible...I got diagnosed with it about a year n a half o.O I belive and ahh I hate taking medicine for it

  • @Kornrocker90 Yeah, I hate the medicine too but I'm too scared to NOT take it.

Don't take it and your thyroid might die from the antibodies burning it out (from attacking it) and then you have to take medicine to give your body the thyroid hormones... and at that point you NEED the medicine otherwise you will die because your body can't make the hormones and if you aren't taking them in synthetically (pills) you can be screwed so...

Keep taking your meds. They're important! <3

  • my heart goes out to you.. <3

  • Two of my aunts have Wegner's Granuloma (I probably butchered the spelling) and almost died before they were diagnosed. Three of my other aunts have sjogren's syndrome. I have the sjogren's antibodies, so I'm likely to end up with the syndrome as well, along with Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome, which causes constant dislocations and pain.

  • @KyleneJudith I was actually diagnoses with sjogren's as well. I didn't think to mention it because it really didn't come to mind. I have too much on my plate and that one just slipped off I guess... =x

Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome is something I never heard of but from your description it sounds like something that would be difficult to manage. I hope you don't end up with it... because it doesn't sound fun at all.

  • Don't let troubles overwhelm you.... btw I am looking forward to see more of your friendship bracelet tutorials.

  • @qtcraftygurl I know. I've got two set aside to do and I just haven't been able to bring myself to do them. My arms have been bugging me for the past week. I may just try to add two quick beginner tutorials and then wait on the "intermediate" patterns. The more knots the more difficult the video is to complete. I guess I could start cutting the video and picking up where I left off and seamlessly editing it but I don't know. I hate when people cut videos so I really don't want to.

  • @BeyondBracelets All of us enjoy watching your very helpful videos.... I am eager to learn more " beginner" bracelets.... (I just started crafting friendship bracelets) Thanks for your help

  • @qtcraftygurl I keep getting messages to post easier bracelets so I think I'll try working on some.

  • @beyondbracelets

Your a huge Inspiration, even though you have weak arms you still make bracelets on youtube for your fans,Your amazing, when there is drama i watch your videos and make bracelets and it makes me feel so great again :)Your kind in sosososo many ways :) Love your biggest fan :)

  • @batmanfansXOXO Yeah... some days I feel like I have adventure time 'noodle arms' which makes it difficult to do them but I like doing it to help. I think since it was such a nice pastime to me I like sharing it with others now.

I've done it a long time (15 years) but now I don't make them anymore. The only time I make them is on camera to teach. I still like them still but they're just too much for me to make nowadays. =/

  • sweet girl it is still you. You are still beautiful and i love your video's but if you need to take a break for heavens sake take a break.. we and you and all us will be here when ya come back. I came here because i hated all the drama in other places. If you have bad days then you have bad days. Do what you need to take care of yourself. You are very kind in sharing and have an art i enjoy watching and doing.. thank you for sharing... hugs

  • @effie924 I took a break a while back but I felt weird. I kind of felt I was hiding how sick I get and everyone would just think,"HEY! SHES OUT PARTYING AND AVOIDING US" when it was more like,"HEY! SHES IN PAIN AND HASN'T LEFT HER BED IN 14 HOURS!" lolol...

Thank you for the kind words. I think I will start trying to take a break. I was rolling around the idea of uploading one video a week on a specific day or something but my luck I'd start feeling badly on those days. =x

  • you are an inspiration! :)

  • I hope it becomes more copable for you. It was very sad to find out you're sick because I didn't know you were :-(

I thought I had IBS, but it turns out I had achalasia, it's rare in children. I basically find it hard to swallow. I hope you have a long, happy, creative life :-) You're very "heroic" :-)

  • Thank you for sharing this and I hope you know that you are an amazing person. Thank you for all the hard work you do with the tutorials and sharing it with us. I usually say "feel better" because my friend is chronically ill as well but I say it in terms of "I hope you feel a bit better today than what you did yesterday." I know she or you won't have a cure and I'm sorry, but I hope that you have more up days than down days. Take care of yourself cause that is most important. :)

  • thumbs up if you felt like crying!

  • @JennaKo1101 No need to cry for me. There's people who have been dealt worse cards in their life. I just wanted to be honest with everyone and let them know what is going on with me. Being sick makes it a bit more difficult to keep up my youtube stuff so I wanted to address it.

I'm glad I cleared the air- now I won't feel so guilty when I decide I need to rest. I always have "Gotta make a tutorial" in my head always and it makes my rest less restful, if you know what I mean.

  • my dad sleeps with a mask! Thank you for doing all you do! thank you so much for all the tutorials!! I love them!!! but if you find someday you can't make them because of your health, dont!! you have to take care of yourself before you take care of us!

  • @CCO318 I've been trying to back away from youtube and take 'me time' more but it's funny... I feel guilty if I've not made a video in a week or so. I have fun reading comments on new videos and seeing people get excited about something new. It makes me feel better after the fact but it's hard to get myself to film and then spend so much time editing and making it tolerable... lol.

  • READ!! you need to stop feeling sorry about your self!! i know i dont have any of does desess but if i had i would hava a tottaly diffentattitide! because you need to be thankfull for everthing you have not dont have! everthing happens for a reason!! i will be praing for your health!! keep fighting for what u have(your boyfriend for example)) you are a strong soul! but stop that attitude! YOU ARE GOING TO GET BETTER!! U R GOING TO BE OKAY! BETTER THAN EVER!!!! because QUITERS NEVER WIN && WINER

  • @karen77603 I don't have a bad attitude about it.. If you read my blog you'd notice this is just my sense of humor and how I cope. I felt I owed letting everyone know what I am dealing with so if I happen to say,"Hey guys, too sick to make a video." people will understand instead of get angry at me like some have in the past.

As for getting better... I have an autoimmune disease. Those can't be cured. I wish it could but the truth is it just won't. It's not attitude, it's just fact.

  • You are so insparational to me! I would be useless at bracelets without you.I love your work and the fact that you are ill wont make me unsubscribe from you! I feel so bad that this is happening and all i can say is i hope it doesnt get worst! :(

  • @hmnblake Hopefully it won't get worse. My eyesight seems to be getting worse but not so much my overall physical health. For all I know the tumor in my pituitary might be to blame for that... hopefully I'll have it looked at a bit closer soon. I'd hate to be blind or something... I know there are artists out there who have lost their vision and still paint and do other stuff but I'd be dead inside never seeing what I created. I like admiring the finished work too much to be blind.

  • @BeyondBracelets eat carrots, they help your eyes! Yeah, that would suck if you couldnt see your work! xoxo :)

  • @hmnblake Haha, I love carrots. I don't think it's that sort of bad eyes. I get these weird floating black holes in my vision and lots of little "firefly" looking lights. I also have floaters which are normal but these are not floaters. It's crazy. I still need to get to an eye doctor... mine wasn't much help but he wasn't a full blown medical eye doctor.

  • @BeyondBracelets :( sorry :)

  • I have the same issue with eating and feeling sick.. I have chrones so I also get a lot of pain in my intestines. I also have asthma, but my body is allergic to the inhaler, so I get pain and itching anytime I use it. On top of all that I'm allergic to everything, I have a heart disease and I just got diagnosed with cervical cancer. I feel your pain girly!

  • @Starsonedge I'm not allergic to anything really... though I still swear I may have a wheat intolerance. Some of my symptoms went away while being gluten-free but my gastro said I didn't have it. It's weird.

I'm sorry to hear you've got a lot on your plate too. It's crazy how medical issues never come as "one big one" and are almost always a series of smaller problems. I wish I had just ONE thing, it would be easier to direct my anger at one big thing than just EVERYTHING... lol.

  • @BeyondBracelets You're lucky you're not allergic to anything, lol, I get back sinus headaches and I need them drained 'cause they're infected again :( Allergies and intolerances do develop at any age though, you could've just started to develop an intolerance and the doctor didn't catch it or something, even if you're not, doing something that makes you feel better is never the wrong way to go :)

  • You truely are amazing. 3 I have some undiagnosed pain that goes through my whole body. I've had it for 3 or 4 years and it kills my wrists and knees and ankles and shoulder, ect. Ect and I've been to three specialist, I'm currently being seen at a childrens hospital (I'm 15 now) and making bracelets kills my wrists when they already hurt, but seeing you do it makes me feel motivated to keep going. 3 Thank you so much for all you do and this video.

  • @vwm8D Aw... 15? =/

Yeah... that's not a good one. Bracelet making does hurt quite a bit and I can't even make the full bracelets anymore. Someone asked for a "knot undoer needle keychain" and by the end of it I wanted to cut my arms off they were so tense and sore.

I'm glad I keep you motivated... but go easy on yourself with the knotting. Bracelets are cute but they aren't always worth the pain. Good luck with the doctor stuff- I hope you figure it out soon enough.

  • Oh my god you don't seem like you have anything wrong with you! But I so admire you for doing the crafts and explaining to people what's wrong with you!!!!

  • @Beekmantowngirl Yeah... I try to hide it. My boyfriend gets mad at me because I'm all smiles and tend to play it off even with doctors... when he goes with me he gets pissed and tells me to cut the crap and just tell them flat out what is wrong. I don't know, it's just when I do tell them they never take me seriously and end up being condescending like,"Oh, it's just 'cause you're fat. Lose weight and you won't be sick anymore." but I've found they are 100% wrong on that.

  • <3 I love that you have posted this. I have some of the same problems you do. I know how hard it can be. just want to give you a huge hug!! Love you all the more for the effort you up into your videos. xx

  • @HellBentBetty I'll accept that virtual hug and raise you a virtual high five.

I'll continue to put effort in to the videos until I keel over finally. Hopefully it won't be anytime soon, though. That'd suck. =/ lol

  • Thank you for filling us in. You are in my prayers. Hang in there! You are so very inspiring to many people....I love your videos. Your projects are amazing and you are very talented. Thanx for sharing xoxoxoxo

  • @sandyvan13444 I figured it was about time. I sort of imply it here and there but I've never made a video just flat out saying it all. It was hard and I started over about 5 times because I felt so strange letting it out but I feel better for it. Now I know I can tell you guys,"Not feeling well, I can't make a video" and you guys will understand instead of assuming I'm just being lazy and blowing you off. =x

  • I am not going to say I am sorry for you, or that I hope you get better as I know what you are going through (I have very many similar issues you are having) I am on a 950cal a day diet and I still manage to gain weight. I am happy to know I AM NOT the ONLY one with these issues. But we have to stay strong and keep on trucking. What you do for people is amazing and I love watching your tutorials. And knowing that you can do it, makes me want to do more crafting. Good luck with it all!

  • @PhynixCaskey Agh, 950 calories sounds about right. My doctor force a 1,200 calorie diet on me a while back and at the end of the day I was up to about 600-700 if I was lucky. My mom would try shoving yogurts at me and I just couldn't do it. It's not that I hate yogurt (which I sort of do, milk upsets me though I'm not a confirmed lactose intolerant) but it was just too much food.

Indeed, we need to stay strong and keep on trucking. I couldn't of said it better myself.

  • @BeyondBracelets I am sorry it took so long to reply, I didn't notice that youtube tells me when people reply to my things. Kinda cool. And yeah I would never be able to eat 1,200 calories in less I went out to eat. And at that point it is half a burger if I can eat that much. I am lactose Intolerant, and if you eat any dairy and get a pain about where you gut sits, you most likely have it too. I get really sick if I drink any milk. And I can't eat yogurt or ice cream. So I understand! See ya!

  • I've a cyst on my ovaries, put my whole female system out of whack, hav RSI too (frm a previous life of office work - ugh!), arthritis in some of my joints (can't handle cold weather) so I know wot its like to live in pain. BUT wot saves me is 1) The luv of my life - my Husband 2) Art/Craft I couldn't get thru life w/out it :) When it gets 2 painful I watch YOUR channel & suddenly forget about my pain, I get so inspired & enjoy watching a really talented, awesome gal! Thanx 4 sharing, U ROCK!! x

  • @glammacakes You guys are being too nice to me... lol. I wasn't really expecting so many sweet comments... and I'm honestly sort of surprised someone hasn't just told me to suck it up yet... but thank you all.

I think I'm enjoying the comments more when I can hear your stories though... I didn't know how many people here were sick in some way as well. I guess it's a silent support group in a sense... not a bad thing. If anything it just helps us cope more.

  • @BeyondBracelets I know wot its like 2 see doctors, specialists, x-rays, ultrasounds, Ive even had 2 see a shrink 2 cope wit it all, my arthritis gets so terribly painful can't even get outta bed, get depressed etc. I come to yr channel & I get inspired, I am filled w/hope again, I smile/laugh/cry etc, I start make things (eg: paper beads) from my bed & It makes me feel life isn't all that bad! Thank u for all the effort u put in 2 making this channel, Yr a hero(ine) 2 many & I'm 1 of them. xox

  • @glammacakes I'm glad I inspire you to continue crafting even if you can't pull yourself out of bed some days. I have days like that but I force myself to sit at the table... otherwise my bed would be pretty gross from all the glaze/paint/glue/etc that I tend to use. Haha.

Keep on being inspired and show that pain who's the boss.

  • No matter what you are beautiful , you inspire so many people, you should know what you do has changed people. You have changed the way i see crafts. By what you do you inspire me because of what you go through and i thought you should know i really enjoy your videos.

  • @smileluver17 Going through rough times forces creativity I find. Before I got sick I wasn't the best artist... I'd muck around with stuff but I wasn't very good. Only when I got sick did I start taking this seriously because it let me feel I was actually getting my frustration/pain/etc out on paper/in a project. So as much as I feel bad... I wouldn't change it. I like who I've become but I do have hopes to get better otherwise it may eventually be stagnant resentment for myself.

  • This made me cry but I still love you keep doing what u r

  • You are amazing, no matter what!

  • Lol ok fine 2 hearts then

  • Lol @ 33 meant 3 sorry

  • Ur followers love u ur fams love u and of course ur bf loves u 33 ur awsome and a insparation and no matter wat we will b here with u :)

  • @monidoll310 He said I was lying to you guys in the video. When I was editing the video and he heard me mention that he loved me he looked over from his computer area and said,"I do not. You're lying to them,." so maybe not. lolol (He was kidding, of course.)

I'm glad I've got some dedicated fans that will stick with me even if sometimes I can't seem to get out of bed to make a video for a week straight. I'm happy to know there is some understanding behind this all.

  • ILY!! Hugs

  • @lashyon ILY2 Lash. <3

  • I hear ya I was born with Spina Bifida I have cysts on my overies. I can walk a little with a walker but mostly in a wheelchair. I understand about the sewlling. My body started swelling about 10 years ago people think if I just lose weight then I could walk better. Thay tell me to excercise more I do what I can but it hurts. I have a shunt in my head and have had 20 surgerys in my life and I have CHF and I am only 38. so I know. ur doing gr8 keep up thx 4 ur vids I look foward to them. Rebecca

  • @TootsleTurtle Yikes... It's crazy how many different things can go wrong with the human body. For so young you've sure been through a lot... but I'm sure it made you a better, more understanding person in the end. Being sick does that to most people, you start imaging how other people must feel and it gives you a whole other level of compassion you didn't have access to before getting sick.

  • @BeyondBracelets I feel really sorry for you. I hope your going to find some treatment and get better. I wouldn't live without learning friendship bracelets

  • @hcr4eva Hopefully my doctors will help me out if they can. As for not living without friendship bracelets- you'd just need to learn to read patterns. =P

  • Please don't give up on yourself; talk to other doctors, medical professionals, etc. until you can live an easier life. Perhaps alternative/holistic treatments would make a difference in how you feel and function (with your doctor's knowledge and approval, of course). There is surgery for Carpal Tunnel, which may help you; ask. And remember: sometimes, a lot of these types of conditions can be caused by sensitivities, like to gluten, for example. I sympathize with and support you.

  • @demelzabunny1 Oh, I haven't given up but my doctors don't seem to take me seriously. I've been to many of them and though they find things they treat me for them and it ends up worse. It's depressing of course but I won't give up. If I don't fight for myself who will?

I've also been tested for celic- they said it was negative. Funny enough my first thyroid blood test was negative- then I ended up with autoimmune hypothyroid! Same with PCOS- it was negative until the ultrasound.

  • :( can't thumbs up the video. ohh well. regardless, i appreciate your telling your audience about your sickness. now i will understand much more when you say your sick, or even if/when you cannot do a certain tutorial. i wish you the best! oh, and you make me giggle when you crack jokes about ur messing up. i likee ur humor :) keep strong!

  • @vintageous77 Yeah, I turned off ratings because I don't like giving anyone the right to judge how I feel or what I'm going through. I am the only one able to judge me on that, good or bad.

I always joke because it makes it feel less serious. May be a quirk, but it's a good one. Making people smile is something I seem to be good at in real life so I'm glad it works through the internet as well.

  • Omfg I feel sososososososo bad 4 u I love us vids u help me sososososososo much and ur truly amazing ily

  • @Softballroxx2011 Thank you but... I really wasn't looking for sympathy or people to feel bad. =P

Thank you, though. I'm glad I've helped you.

  • You're amazing.

  • I've been following you on another account for awhile and....wow I just learn new stuff about u everyday. I knew the sleeping thing and the galbladder thing but wow. Talk about girl power! ;)

  • @MsGeminiTwinz Yeah, I added it as a silent thing on my pictures but I didn't make it a big deal. I never made a video going in depth because I didn't want to seem like miss whiney pants... but it needed to be said so now it's out.

The human body is an amazing thing and being sick only keeps you down if you let it. Sometimes I feel selfish wishing it "wasn't me" but in another sense I'm glad it is. It makes me a better and more understanding person in the end.

  • I'm your # 1 fan... You are sooooo inspiring.. Thanks for your videos and I pray that God will cure all your illnesses..

  • @titabarcelona You're welcome and thank you.

  • i realise u have alot of problem lately :<

  • @cherrybloom22 It was a bit less stressful before youtube... I'm still trying to pull myself back a bit but I feel so bad not answering every question. Eventually I'll have to pick and choose because it already takes a ton of time and it's time I probably should be resting and/or just having fun with my boyfriend. I'm still trying to be loyal to helping people but everything is compacting lately it seems.

  • @BeyondBracelets

im sorry if we're causing u more stressful... :<

yer u really should just have fun with your boyfriend :) going on a date, watching a movie together , and then get married XD <3

why don't you just like while your making something make a video on it too.. maybe that will make it more easier :P

  • @cherrybloom22 Nah, don't apologize. If I didn't like doing what I do I'd just delete my videos and walk away. Sometimes it gets overwhelming but it's not that bad yet. There are about 20,000 and it's just now getting hard to keep up with. Eventually I might start not replying to every comment but it will only be once I truly can't keep up anymore and I will have to pick and choose who to answer.

As for fun... I think that's a god idea. lol.

  • @BeyondBracelets LOL

wow really u have alot of hard work...

some of your fans might help u answer the questions ;) ( if we know the answer :3 )

  • I LOVE YOU SOOO MUCH BECAUSE YOU MAKE MY FRIENDSHIP BRACELETS MUCH MORE AWESOME AND STUFF.YOU ARE MY FAVORITE CRAFTER!!!!!I AM SOOOO SORRY FOR YOU!<33333

  • @Kassasix3 No need to feel sorry for me, I just wanted to get this out there and let everyone know why I may not post as often as regular youtubers may. It's just a lot for me even f it seems like an easy task to some for me keeping up with this so closely is a really big achievement.

I'm glad you are a fan, but never feel sorry for me. Just be happy I'm well enough to continue posting and if
