  • I want the C5 Military bullet . I wish there were dealers in North Florida

  • Love the bike!!!! It's got class

  • Nice - too quiet but - sort of.....

    Sounds Mmmmmmmm

I'd fit a smaller back sprocket - if you mainly run in flat areas by yourself, and I'd make a tuned length straight through exhaust pipe that gives you optimum power from 80% to 120% of the legal highway speed - then I'd cut the excess length off and fit the fish tail to that.

I'd probably take the main jet up one or two sizes.

  • Sounds like my bike

  • sounds good! the bullet always sounds good. One suggestion for you, while kick starting i really like to turn the kick with my finger rather than the way you do with your feet before kick starting. It looks classy you know. and i always love doing that.

  • Sweet man - love the horn too! My 2011 G5 Classic will be delivered in 2 days - can't wait to get it!

  • Wow, love the bike

  • What is the maintenance like? Lots of it?

  • @scott97 Not really, I bet in a Harley would be the same or actually more!

  • @CITIBANCO what is that thinngy at the end of the exhaust sir??And about the video...real sublime

  • @Ganz54 Thanks about the video, this exhaust is a replica of the ones from the 50's called "the Flash Gordon" or "Fish Tale".

  • lol whats with the horn

  • no offence dude but sound is average, you should check indian bullet sound. actually less people no about the original thump.

  • yeah great vid love enfields , rode a few, nice! got a 2001 bonneville now, love it lots of same questions every where, love the c;assics, thanks for posting.

  • no offence but sound could be better :D nice bike though.

  • looks like a big faggot nerd

  • Hi. Grt video...more than to ask for...I have a question... Is it worth buying a 2010 Bullet 500...I am from India and I am currently living in Virginia...fortunately I found RE dealers over here...I am very much fond of RE Bullet from my childhood but a bit skeptical about the engine manufactured in 2010...may I know ur opinion about it..thanx

  • @patela21 yrah get one they awesome!!

  • I wanted an Enfield but I ended up with a Suzuki TU250 for now - a fine motorcycle. One day though I will have my enfield. No bashing to tradition if I want one that's EFI. I've always had a thing for single cylinder bikes. I don't think I can honestly say I've met a motorcycle that I didn't like to ride though....

  • cool video. love the old ads

  • nice looking bike, ive been looking at getting one myself , have you had any issues with it so far?

  • @20revolution12 The mayor issue is that I don't have time to ride that much! I think this bike is perfect for me for me because of that, Only for the weekends love affair.

  • the sound is ok not the best if you hear an indian bullet theats the real deal

  • I gotta get my hands on one! So expensive... And great with that Klaxon horn, what a fabulous touch!

  • @epicdeuce Thanks for the feedback, and I think actually that is not really expensive if you compare it with any of the direct competitors, well I would have got a Bonneville if the price where less than 8K. in the other hand if you are in the US you can get second hand beauty like this in pristine condition for about 3K from people that don't understand this type of machines. This is not Japanese bike and requires some TLC.

  • your video is kind a funny ... lol ^^

  • It ain't a dirtbike , get off the gravol . Oh and get a louder exhaust

  • this is one of the best videos i've seen, sublime, pure sureal joy

  • @tristanyseult Thanks Man!

  • I want one! I like that single cylinder thud, very cool.

  • is this video a joke?

  • @aerohells07 Yes ended, I made it to amuse your Mother, She had lots of fun together!

  • It sounds like its going to die...

  • citibanco.. can see where you are coming from with the vid.. nice bike..great sound..great choice of music..original Enfield art work is wonderful... ignore the idiots comments.. they were abused by their parents..now they feel the need to abuse others..simples.... keep polishing that chrome..looks wonderful.

  • I don't like the sound. Come to India, I'll show you what a real bullet sounds like.

  • @ankurborwankar sai mein..iski awaz to auto jaisi hai lol

  • @ankurborwankar agreeed!!!!!!!!

  • the guy look like Dwight Schrute from The Office

  • I rode one like that in the Himalayas...

  • the guy looks like a gay nerd

  • @fcololo jajajajajjajajajaja yeah

  • @fcololo You are even more gay nerd than me cause you watch my entire video and bather to write such a stupid ting

  • Excellent! Where did you get the jpgs of the old advertisements? Great bike, looking at getting on myself. Nice goggles too. Ride on Bro!

  • hi citibanco!!!!! you dont have to proof anyone cus i was riding bullet 350 since i was 13 yrs old and it was 1978 year that i was born and my dad got 1960, unfortunately my dad couldnt maintain and sold couple yrsago it was sad and i miss them now we got 06 model and i still love it,,,,,,,thanks for the post and nice video

  • @perolito83 Gracias Viejo Men!

  • Great sound, and great music; one word of advice if I may, riding at such low revs will flog--out the big end bearing; although I realize that you are only doing that to emphasize the exhaust sound. Nice klaxon horn too. I ride a 2000, 500 Bullet.

    Regards, Leon.

  • @leonnovello Thanks for the advise, your right about it. I always listen to other fellow Royal Enfield rider.

Do you have a video or pics of your machine? I would like to see what you have done to your baby to!

  • beautiful! loved the tune too!

  • OMG BORING

  • @guitar321inthehouse1 Go and keep watching Sponge Bob and let the Men talk kiddo!

  • @CITIBANCO i love royal enfield, im getting a classic 500 soon AND i love spongebob :/

  • @guitar321inthehouse1 you are boring. and you suck. great vid.

  • @guitar321inthehouse1 Boring? I bet you watched more than twice! and after that you spent your time to comment, so I wonder how boring this is?

  • Nice Bike i,am hoping to buy a 1978 yamaha XT500 this weekend. did you rebilt your bike yourself?

  • love the goddamn background music...

  • a beautiful video, I also posted it on my facebook :)

  • @Zento1000 Thanks for your good taste!

  • nice collection of sounds, it is made in India, no ?

  • Big singles...always sound sweet.....

  • Thanks Mate!

I think we are some how alike since I have a Subaru Outback 2010. what a cool car right

  • De un medio Perunao amigo a un Colombiano, It is beyond my comprehension why you took the stance you did when you probably thought I was a gringo Americano. Most of these machines never have problems but there ARE a lot that do. When the warranty period is up by over a year, there is no way the company will come to the party & cover the cost of fixing my bike. I have already approached the company that sold it to me & that's final. So when it is back together it will be better than ever. Salud

  • The last fault a thick thrust washer, was left in the timing case during assembly in the ROYAL ENFIELD FACTORY. This washer found it's way against the gear spline on the pump shaft causing the pump to fail & ultimately the bigend bush on the conrod. Unfortunately this happened half way through a 2000 km trip & I had to leave my Bullet there & fly home. Not until it was pulled down was this errant washer found. The barrel, piston & rings were still in in amazing condition an indication of care.

  • Me disculpas si te he ofendido amiguito,

  • I also have a black Classic Bullet 500 from INDIA. Sadly it's NOT a British machine, if it was I doubt I would have had the problems that HAVE had. By including British posters in your video you wish to give the false impression of British quality that is a blatant LIE. Many of these machines are quite good & when those that are not have broken down, which they will, & are repaired with anything but INDIAN parts, they will be better. Mine has had 8 faults built into it by the INDIAN factory.

  • Excellent machine i also have a bullet 500 2005 love it to bits got my geman helmet. with a big screw driver and hammer up the exaust it gives an even better noise!!!

  • Man, nice bike and sounds very nice. I like a thumpers :-) . In my dreams I have a bullet (but also a SR500 and many other bikes, haha!).

Keep it nice and shiny side up!

  • damned cool horn ... ;-)

  • @misterobvious - you are obviously right dude.. i own a 1970 standard and a 2001 electra.. both are in mint condition and sounds like a BULL.. no wheezing :)

@Trohr - you are not asked to give your w-hole name publicly here...ROFLOL

  • You SHOULD be proud of that bike. I'm a performance bobber/ drag bike sort of guy, but I can still appreciate this motorcycle quite a bit- they really are one of a kind. Looks like you can ride pretty well too. As for the assholes below? You guys probably don't even own a bike.

  • Thanks Men!

You sure have good sense of taste, I love bobbers to but I cant afford more horses. you know!

  • some chrome stuff is sticking out on your bikes exhaust whats that! and i hear only the tappet noise levels than the bobbers beat

  • Thats the point of that bike, maybe some day you will understand that. hopefully!

  • Love it. Not too many single cylinder thumpers left and none sound as good as this. Well done.

Love the cafe racer helmet and googles!

  • I really want one.

  • Where are you from ? In europe you can get it from France, England, Deutschland & Austria. In USA or in Canada there are seperate dealers for them so you can look into net :)

  • Where did you get that horn?

  • hahahahahaaaaaaaaaa wat d hell r u doin goin round n round n round freaky man??? atleast have a frnd shootin ur vid!!!

n i dnt think dis bike is capable of flyin around 145km/hr, if u think it cn den prove it....

  • First take some English classes and then you will be able to comment on youtube, jajajajjaj ajajaja

  • The goggles are fine, and appropriate to the style, but THAT GUY will never be able to carry off the style convincingly. He'll look like a nerd in a Halloween costume every time.

  • trueeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

  • But at least I have a cool bike and I can post a video of that, DO YOU?

you are just a envious loser. jajajaja

  • OR......maybe I DO have a cool bike that I built myself from the ground up, and I'm not so insecure that I need to post videos of me riding it on YouTube.

  • hhmm..another bored banker trying get of his mundane life and have some thrill!! Now that shitybank is in trouble i wonder if he is still working!

  • yes, while all those other bankers are preparing the sell the word economy to the devil at least this one is trying to find his back back to the garden, keeping his blood warm......

  • Nice Job. Keep the Enfield, Keep the Helmet & The Goggles, but ditch the face-in-the-camera shot!

  • Nice, but ditch the helmet and goggles

  • Nooooo, open face helmet and goggles is a MUST on a Royal Enfield. A closed helmet would definetly be a style killer.

  • Thank God! Finally someone with a good sense of style! Also not to wear helmet is just to asking to lose your brains down the road.

  • I use a "IXS Spencer" jacket, goggles and a "Held Police" helmet when riding my Bullet.

  • I enjoyed watching your video. Thank you so much for posting this, I grew up around the legend that is the Royal Enfield Bullet. I live in NH, and someday I hope to get my own Classic 500. Until then, I'll keep coming back to videos like yours.

  • Hi! I have owned a BULLET350.

What is this horn of any kind?

I have never heard a sound in my country(Japan) like this.

Where did you get it ?

I like this sounds very much , of course also sound your great BULLET.

  • Connichiwa!

You can find this type of horn in amazon or ebay for about 35$ USD it is called Ahooga, or Ooga. Horn Antique Replica Vintage aooga ooga a-oo-ga hooga

    Thanks and good look.

  • thank you for your reply and thank you for giving the information about the horn.

I will try to find it , and install it to my enfy .

have a nice day with your enfield !

  • lov the sound..

  • so does the AVL engine have better mpg than the standard engine? (i am buying my bike soon and have to decide) i read the AVL is an improvement over the standard engine but lost the 'thump'

  • Have you check the all New EFI c5 it is the most gorgeous bike ever and it is totally new design.

If I where to purchase a bike right now I will get that one because the reliability and the perfect vintage look. and the same as the AVL has a little of the original thump to back up the name

  • wow!!! i just cant stop watching this video!

i want to make mine like this, so much like the original.

you have the plate on the front mudguard! not many people do this but that is the first thing for me.

so can i buy these mods and extras from a common parts seller?

    thanks.

  • Thanks, that was the Idea.

  • Is it reliable?

    I love the thump!

I hate 4 cyl bikes that sound like sewing achines!

  • I little better than a 70's triumph! since this one has TCI ignition.

  • Hey I'm about 6' 3" think that a RE would be to small for me?

  • Well?

I am 5'8" and I feel like it is a little tall for me.

The length of the bike is not really long so you will feel like your are on a bicycle.

So as I tell everyone, Go and seat in this bike and if you find it wired or ridiculous don't get it.

  • Love that thump. That's the sound that fits that bike. Wouldn't want it any other way.

  • Thank you very much,

Some people say that my bike sounds just like a Volkswagen beetle. to me it sound like a symphony.

Vale

  • Thanks

I just tried to put a decent video out there for people that are in search of headlights before buying this kind of bike.

One year ago I had to go to a over 200miles away dealership to appreciate the beauty and sound of such refined machine, and bought it in the spot.

    Thanks for your comment. Mate.

  • dude out of all the videos on youtube on bullets yours is the best....n your bike the prettiest....i used to have a 350 in the same colour...but now in india u dont get this colour scheme such a shame....by the way i love the sound of your bullet its sweet...as opposed to the thump.

  • Cruises at 65 you say? From the Enfield forum I go to (however I don't currently own an Enfield), the consensus seems to be you should be taking it over 80kmh - so roughly 40-45mph? Have you had any mods done to it? Nice bike btw mate, I am a big Bullet lover.

  • This is the AVL "lean burn engine" is basically the same bike of the 50's but the engine is made of Alloy with mods that you will do to the traditional iron bike to be at it's best performance like bigger oil pump, electronic timing, 5 speeds transmission etc.

So cruising speed will be about 100Kilometers or 62Milles and top speed 120kMH or 80MPH and the only mods you have to do to the model for this to be possible is to change the muffler pipe, air filter and ad bigger carburetor jet set.

  • I like the way you have mixed in the old advertising shots. They are a great classic looking bike. My local Triumph dealer is also the local Royal Enfield dealer. I'm always intrigued by those bikes. I bet you get people stopping you at carparks and petrol stations to have a look.

  • Very cool looking bike. Cheers.

  • Thanks, I wish I can have a second bike to get me a Triumph Bonneville like yours they are such beautiful machines to, and with more power to be perfect for a vintage caferacer.
