  • wait she said, sun light right>? if i don't have a kiln, can i dry it in the sun? I'm ok with shaping and molding things, but its because i don't have a kiln, and im too young to buy one (17 but very mature for my age, love crafts) i don't have a credit card, and my parents don't support my hobbies. Can it dry alright in the sun? and for sanding, what do you use?

  • Gave up after 5 mins. Problem with music and demo.

  • yeah, never use music when you're teaching something. needless, and disturbing. VERY hard to follow. Moreover, the video doesn't show the process too well.

  • you dont need years of experience, but you do need a lot of money :P its not cheap

  • how much clay cost (the material) ?

    and u r so cute :D

  • very informative! Thanks so much for posting :)

  • hi from germany.

gold is available as well ? it´s amasing !

    thanks

  • I, too was wondering how malleable a fired piece would be. Have you done any research on that? Thanks for sharing!

  • Thank you for sharing this video.

  • this was really pleasant. Thanks a lot for sharing.

  • does it(art clay) come in copper or brass?

  • Yes it now comes in Copper and brass. The firing process is different.

  • I think it comes in all metals now

  • If you make a thin piece of silver, can you bend it without it snapping?

  • why does metal clay still look like clay on the inside after it is fired? if you break a piece after its fired it still looks like clay inside.....just wondering....

  • It's because it hasn't been fired long enough. If it's been fired long enough, it will be solid metal internally, as well as out.

  • how much does a kiln like that cost?

  • Love the video, but please keep the music lower so I can hear what you say a little more clearly.

  • Yes music in this case is better off. I want to hear your instructions very clear.

  • WOW!

That is fantastic. I can't wait to try it with some of my ceramic jewelry molds of pacific northwest indian symbols.

  • Thank You for your generousity. I understand your method of how to. I enjoyed your presentation.

    Bravo

  • Informative but could be a lot better if she didn't jump from one subject to another and we saw the process from start to finish in one go.

  • HI! I know your first song in the background is by George Winston... what's the second song? I'm getting a PMC kit for Christmas this year - Thanks for making me even more exciting to get us it!

  • Barbara,

Thank you sooo much ! I'm about to try out your fun funky dolls. I found your project on Sculpey website. I do have a question. What is the name of your kiln ? I didn't realize that there is one so small. Can you give me some infor on it ?

    Thank again

    Mary Lou
