I recently bought a 2tb seagate 5600 rpm internal hdd , but it only registers as 931 gigs what the hell is the problem ? and how do i fix it. Iam using windows 7 and it refuses to allow me to exceed 931 gigs , although it says 2tb on the hard drive

Hey I've found one that works absolutely awesomely. It is very easy to use and you don't need a blank disc to install it with. The program is called EASEUS Partition Manager Home Edition. I used 4.1.1

If anyone is using vista... Be very cearfull using this software if so, it skrewed with my notepad. good software, worked well no problems. Jus dont restart without creating a backup disk first read things cearfully. Best wishes, please take a look at my channel. =)

can someone help me? my laptop is running xp pro and i hav about 60GB left on it, i recently got the live cd of fedora 10 ( which i like) and i would like to run a dual OS ( xp and fedora 10) on my laptop. is it possible to partition my xp drive to create one for fedora 10 WITHOUT losing all my music and such? if so how?

you need to shrink the xp partition to free up room on the hard drive for another partition, the process will be different depending on the software you use

Gparted is much better, you can do LiveCD and LiveUSB and even install it(not just in an OS but you can boot to it).
