Actually, I read the real story that Walton told. He said he fought them off and then was put into a room with these hominoid creatures that gave him a revelation. To be honest, Hollywood made a more clear picture of what happens to most people in these situations.

i feel asleep in my living room sat night around 11pm with TV on, woke up around 330am at this VERY scene of THIS movie!! I was freakin scared shittless and didn't even wanna go get in my bed!! I was like "of course i'd wake up to THIS shit, why couldn't it be Care Bears or something!"

haha i agree, and we never heard what happened to the body.
he taped it speaking but he only used audio...i dont get why he didnt use video, he said some bullshit about the alien being scared of the camera.
the more you think about it the more it smells like bullshit.
ppl just see it and believe it straight away cos they story sounds so real.
He never answerd the main questions and that makes it suss.

yeah this is a freaky scene and all but if you actually look up and read travis's actual account of the abduction it was nowhere near this horrifying and in fact quite boring which is actually scary to know that the human imagination is worse than what actually happened...

Freaky scene. I love this film. Have only seen it once, but it really left an impression on me. Partly because I believe in this kind of thing. There's got to be life outside of this planet(!?) and people go missing all the time.

All of this is true I went through a similar event back in 1994, I went aboard a 3 story ship and have some surgery, they continued to take me for 5 years to get over it I've told my self I was helping them.

This part does NOT resemble how the real Travis describes it. Go to Wikipedia and see. The real Travis Walton said that he was actually on a hospital-like table initially.
Studio executives decided to change it all because they thought Travis' real story would be too boring. It kinda sucks, doesn't it? Personally, I'd rather have a movie where the real Travis approved of all the scenes.
