Even if you think they should have "saved" the wallaby, it would have been too late anyway. It was already served fatal internal damage with that much blood coming out of its mouth. And honestly, save one animal by killing another? Really? Not like scaring the snake away is a viable option.
The only reason I would have stopped this from happening is because the prey is too big for that snake.. Pointless kill... Otherwise fair game... That's nature
True, the snake has to eat too. However, I've seen another video where the snake CAN'T eat the wallaby because the prey simply is too big. Nature's collateral damage.
@Shinzon23 lmao k "shinzon" your clearly uneducated while I'm in university taking a science, you are not studying anything that pertains to this therefore your opinoin does not matter, I would save a deer from a python regardless if they are considered vermin in ON or not, because it is a higher order of species than a reptile; its intelligence allows it to experience a greater range of feelings than the unintelligent snake, you sir are fucking retard; do me fav and dont spread your genes;
@nantais69 Pretty sure you just let it happen, thats nature in action. And if you are studying science at university you definitely shouldn't be using retarded lame abbreviations like "lmao".
@barnongboy on that note would you save a family dog from the same fate? surely this too would be nature in action would it not? you can take what you want from that and its an easier way to express a situation, get with the program pal
@nantais69 Dogs are house pets and are not good in nature. a wallaby lives outside of homes and in nature. Snakes need to eat like us so this is the circle of life. If you so mad at this video learn what they do in places where they kill cows and such.
@nantais69 Good luck in uni. You are fucking stunned bitch. I would like to see how operation "liberate wallabie" would go. What gives you the right to interupt nature? People like you are the same ones bitching about sharks and how we should leave them alone (which I agree with) and humans should just "stay out of the water"....."its their habitat". You gonna dive in water and save some boy from a great white? my guess is not. So why save a wallabie? It's their habitat. Python just found dinner
@aesutton while i agree with the fact that one should not interfere, this argument is invalid. People fall prey to animals all the time, including 'idiot reptiles'.
@TimmyGal THE SNAKE HAS TO EAT TOO YEAH how about you go take a trip to some forest and python comes and starts strangling you and your friends want to help will you just say that "oh don't help me, the snake has to eat too just go away and let me die."?
@TimmyGal video games on youtube. is that wrong? and snakes don't eat people yes that's correct. but that wasn't the point of my comment you fucking retard.
i have feeling that if you reply to this your comment will be just full of insult towards me
@az095929 Say this was a deer. Say there was nothing to eat the deer, and we were not allowed to eat the deer.
Do you know how many people will die because of this natural imbalance? nature has a balance to keep populations in check. Sadly yes, this includes human beings, with war. It's all a part of nature, and we're both a part of it.

Sure I can see a small viper being killed by a mongoose, but you underestimate pythons. Venomous snakes aren't used to dealing with creatures like mongooses because they are too quick to be bitten, and due to a mutation in their cells they aren't affected by snake venom. But Pythons regularly eat mongooses, and a carpet python this size, would be capable of killing a large dog, let alone a weasel sized mongoose.
@Ultimategrid In the video I put there, the mongoose killed an anaconda, not a small viper. The mongoose is too quick to be caught. It would wreck a carpet python. Don't even get me started on what a honey badger would do to a bitch ass carpet python.
You call that an anaconda? No, that is a small viper, I'm not sure on the species, but that is defiantly not an anaconda. The triangular head, and the thick robust body clearly depicts a viper. Mongooses can kill vipers, and cobras, pythons are different, they strike faster, and farther, a full grown carpet python like the one in this video would utterly destroy a mongoose. They are far too large for the mammal to even hope to kill.
