  • This looks cool

  • Those last two clips are brilliant mate, well done for braving the weather.

  • Yes keith, we all question our sanity on days like these. But it does show you are not "Solar Powered" only going out when the sun shines!!!!

  • @MrFireboxchaser

Think I was more "wind powered" on this day!

  • Splendid conditions there Keith:) Nice to see you braved the elements for us all to watch. Equally nice to see that you gave the the 47 a meantion as many wouldn't have bothered....Keith

  • @MonochromeLoco

Thanks Keith. I quite like 47s. I have a lot of 47s on video from when they worked cross country and mail trains. Just waiting for bad weather this winter to process them for Youtube. Keith.

  • Don’t worry we have all done crazy things to see a railtour, getting up at 5am, standing in rivers…

Definitely worth it though, she looked and sounded tremendous on the last two shots. It was such as same about Tangmere, as I was really looking forward to that on Sunday but I see you made the best of it even in that awful weather.

Fantastic stuff, are you out for the Devonian, if so can’t wait to see what you get of that.

    Keep it coming!

  • @duckfan0000

Thank you. I was looking forward to see Tangmere as well. I remember Tangmere and Oliver Cromwell climbing Hemerdon in superb fashion a couple of years ago and wanted to see if it was repeated with Britannia.

I hope to be out to see the Devonian, which should be very noisey!

  • Well done Keith for braving such conditions to share this excellent material....Bob

  • @robmasterman

Thanks Bob, just about dried out now!

  • I'm grateful you did make that early start Keith, some great shots despite that horrible weather. I suppose after all the problems this tour has suffered a bright sunny day wasn't on the cards!

  • @acw71000

Thanks Austin. The end results were better than I expected. For instance, on Goss Moor I had trouble telling whether Britannia was in the viewfinder or not. In the end I'm glad I made the effort to go out and film. Keith

  • She was certainly going well with that load (which wasn't inconsiderable, with the weight of the 47.) The 47 sounded good in the first clip as well.

  • @AndreiTupolev

Thank you. I was surprised the 47 could be heard with all that wind and rain.

  • Great video was worth it in the end I'd say.

    Hope you enjoyed your swim!!!

  • @campainr

Thanks. I'm still recovering! The last 2 clips made it worthwhile.
