I just beat it right now :) Lavos' Shell was the hardest, but the other two were manageable once you locked in a pattern of your own :) Now Zeal can go on existing happily... Hope I can go there one day and meet Princess Schala <3

DS is harder? well i guess the version your playing is VERY EASY!!!!!! i beat lavos 3 times and i dint feel to much of a challenge.

once you take out the left bit you dont need to worry about multi target techs. just focus the right bit with your most powerful attacks and youre gold. ignore the middle guy hes a distraction

Basically the only ending you absolutely require New Game + to get is the "The Successor of Guardia" ending, because that's the only ending where the timing only permits you to access Lavos from the telepod. By the time you reach the bucket at the End of Time, the "Good Night" ending will have been triggered. Every other ending can be done in a regular New Game.

If his normal attack had been as strong as his special attack you would have died for certain.

(May sound stupid but I've hacked chrono trigger myself and if magic power was that strong he should have done 1400 to everyone with grand stone)

Since this was the last CT video, I'll just leave this here.

Finally got around to playing CT:DS (Japanese game has English translation in it) and damn it's a lot different. "Revive" has been changed to "Athenian Water" (What it was in Japan originally) and "tabs" are now "capsules".

Oh well, I guess it's not as bad since this new translation is more like the original. Also; they haven't completly taken away Frog's medievil personality, just the accent from what I can tell.

My idea about confused would be that you move so quickly around the enemy with your rapid attacks it confuses the enemy into letting you hit it a bunch of times without retaliation.

I don't know, but for some reason, it doesn't let me out of the "The End" so I can't do a new game +. Also I did finish the game this way, in the retranslation. So I tried all the buttons that I input for each button, but nothing works... help?

Well, when I finished (with the retranslation too), I also couldn't get out of the screen, so I just reset, and the New Game + was available.

I think the reason the DS versions are harder is because all the previous versions were attacked by players who thought they were too simple and easy, and now, their wish is fulfilled. It is fun to beat a boss on the verg of dying, but those feelings really don't connect with me...

I always assumed that it was called Confuse because Crono is dashing around the enemy attacking it from all sides, confusing the enemy as to Cronos location.. But thats just me. It doesn't matter. Crono always goes back to the same place and waits for an attack to hit him anyway.

Hey Chrono what does it say about Larvos power levels? IT'S OVER 9000!!!! Love that line and your lets plays! I think Marle isn't completely useless I think that Haste is very usefull as well as that reraise duel tech with Chrono or the Antipode 3 tech with lucca or Cube toss those are all very usefull and marle is a part of them. I hope they don't screw with the DS version. Final fantasy 3 is real screwed up on ds the hp gaining is useless as well as physical attacks. Going to by chrono trigger

actually, the first form seems to be the strongest of them all.

i've only managed to beat him here in a new game plus, and only the shell proved to be challenging...
