I am privilaged enough to own a 98 748 and its the most amazing bike to ride. Handles beyond compare, and that 4 valve testretta engine makes a high rpm noise that makes you all tingly.
Not entirely, It's not the quickest or the highest top speed bike, but handling in the twisty not much can compare. Its also beautifully sculpted and very pleasing to stare at. Sexy italian design nothing compares. (italian trademark)

Believe me, those two things are still entirely possible with this bike. It is by no means slow. Top speed is just over 150 MPH stock
