  • Dean is not for you!

  • U owe me new speakers]

  • do i need the same amp to make it sound like yours

  • this is a shame...

  • Comment removed

  • why the hell did u post this in the first place?? your playing sucks,

    and dude? CHORDS on DISTORTION?

  • i really wanna get that but the review said it looked like cheap. should i get it?

  • is the dean vendetta xm a good guitar??

  • @RandomlieJessie13 yes very good. the pick ups are great.

  • can anybody tell me if this guitar stays in tune fairly well?

  • Whats better dean evo xm or dean vendetta xm

  • I am guessing they are pretty much the same. The evo might be made out of better wood though?

  • It seems they are the same guitars, just different shape, and evo is just 5$ cheaper xD than vendetta

But vendetta looks better to me

  • @kikiriki94 I heard that evo have some better pickups, but since I'm not sure I suggest you check it.

  • @kikiriki94 EVO XM!!!!!!

  • @kikiriki94 They are almosidentical. The only differences are the shape and number of frets. The Vendetta has 24 frets, and the Evo only has 20-22 i cant remember. They use different amounts of wood to get their shapes, so the Evo is slightly heavier. The shape does change the way the sound resonates a bit, but it's almost unrecognizable.

  • @kikiriki94 My apologies. The Evo uses a different type of wood. Evo uses basswood, and Vendetta uses paulownia. Both woods are on the softer end of the scale, but paulownia is usually dried in a way that makes it very durable. basswood doesnt do this. also, paulownia is a very good tone wood, where as basswood, although widley used, is not great tonewise at all. NEVER in a million years would I choose the Evo over the Vendetta.

  • This video is 2 years old. I am much better now.

  • @firecrackerboom088 Well the quality of the video doesn't help, but I'm a lead guitarist in a band and I'm looking for something which can do blues, metal and hard rock.. is this guitar good for those?

  • Wow you guys are jerks.. you people of the internet know how to crush someones confidence... dude you doing good and he even said he is just screwing around.. so bugger off all of ya..

  • wow you suck you play the same chords over and over

  • dude you suck BALLLS, but the guitar is GREAT!!

  • Tune your guitar first!

  • how good is that Guitar im looking in to geting one

  • I just got the Vendetta XM with cheap tremolo for $100 locally. They had 3 to choose from. 2 were shit! The one I got played real nice. I wouldn't buy it online. It's a crap shoot. (mass produced in china) Pretty hot pickups!

  • @CkDreamkiller10 Hey just go to a guitar center and ask if you can play one. thats what i'm gonna do

  • deberian matarte valla mierda de video

  • really bad work.^^ have you ever heard of a "silent guitar" ? ^^ maybe you should begin with some kind of cheaper guitar.^^ for example a dean vendetta isn't an awesome guitar for pro's. but a guitar for beginners it isn't too^^

  • its a 100$ guitar ¬¬, if you think he doesnt "deserve" that guitar then maybe you should give him a shoe box, put some strings, a hole in it and it will be a fair trade, right?

  • is it a good guitar for beginners?

  • yea its ok

  • play metal assjolee!!

  • to bad its a begginer guitar.

  • So what if its a beginner guitar, ive met pros who still play these.

  • yeah, but you might wanna replace the humbuckers.

  • simply buy a distortion pedal

  • Yeah, im getting on & im going to replace them with an EMG 81 85 combo

  • the humbuckers are good.

  • Actually, the Dean Vendetta to me has the playing quality of a Fender Stratocaster and/or a Gibson Les Paul. Just because its a little less pricier than most guitars doesn't mean its a "beginner guitar"

But, I've made many upgrades to mine. I carved my name into the back (like Stevie Ray Vaughan did." I installed some Straplocks, and some new knobs.

  • the price isn't why i say-like most people- that its a beginner guitar.its the features.the strap pins came out,it won't stay in tune for more than 3 or 4 days, input keeps getting loose,2 bolts on the bolt-on neck were stripped when i got it,and that is basically all its problems.its light-weight though and the neck is VERY comfortable.

  • Comment removed

  • i dont have any of those problems.

  • must just be my bad luck then

  • i dont know, ive had mine for over a year and its been fine. sometimes you will order a model and it will individually have problems, it happens with any guitar of any brand

  • i bought mine for 99.99. it sounds great... what a deal!

  • got mine for $80 on sale at guitar center XD

  • @JSS011 dude get me one lol !!!! :)

  • I love my dean!! It has the thinnest neck I've ever seen

  • my jacksons neck is really thin its less than half a inch

  • Hey guys check out the video i made!

    Garrett Alsman's Demo Song

  • I have this kind of guitar, but it's in black and more bigger than this guitar. The black and the orange furnished Vendetta XM are not same in size. I've tried the orange furnished and it's got smaller frets than my black one.

I play heavy metal and I love this guitar. It's cheap, but this kicks ass. That if you have a good amp, good pedals and good skills.

  • i used to have the vendetta 4.0 the one with the tribal inlay sounded amazing this one idk sounds like u need to add some lows

  • yikes

  • on my xm they're medium i think

  • are the frets jumbo, mediuom or XJ

  • Do you think this would be a good guitar for ppl with huge hands?

  • Nope it has a standard width fretboard(same style as a strat) id recomend a les paul (or atleast a cheaper knockoff version)

  • so if i am a guy with big hands.should i get a dean evoXM?(it's a les paul i think) instead of this?cauz i have to chose betwen this and an evoXM which are at the same price.plz tell me.cheers

  • you might want a 25.5 inch scale guitar. i have large hands to and i cant play a gibson at all.

  • The EVO is thicker bodied, meaning it has a higher sound quality behind it, but in actuallity, they both play just about the same, except the Vendetta has two more frets. I personally, having both guitars, usually play the Vendetta because, to me, it has a more powerful crunch sound to it.

  • Wow this is awfull. hahah

Sorry dude...I would stop making videos until you get a couple of chords right. The guitar is a cheap but you can make a cheap guitar sound ok if you know how to play. Practice before posting videos. Good luck to you.

  • Notice this is from a year ago.

  • Delete the video and replace it with a new one. It's simple as that if you're tired of lame comments like my own. XD

  • I can play this with just the guitar cord

  • you need a better amp

  • u suk

  • can this play clean plz reply

  • you should write your comments a bit more intelligently.

  • im dislexic btw

  • Wtf firecracker? he was just asking if the guitar can play clean, you fucking douchebag.

  • i have this guitar, too.

    ...since today

  • is it any good because i may get it

  • its actually not a bad guitar for its price

  • Yeah I messed up and actually baught one. It sucked bad. Traded it for a NEW Dean Cadi with Emg 81 and 85's in it. Definatly got the better end of the deal.

  • yeah my friend has that guitar it doesnt sound as bad as it does in the vid, you should prob get a really nice amp

  • yeah. i have a squier. personally i like it more than the vendettas, and a play a lot of metal. the neck might not be as fast but it can still get pretty heavy. its also a lot cheaper. BUT! dean is my favorite brand. if u wanna spend the money, get a cadillac

  • a dean vendetta xm is good anyhow

jus need the right settings for the amp

    and skill lol

  • you should have bought a better guitar

  • dude help me plz.. im trying to decide between a Vendetta XM or a Squier, which one do u recommend??

  • xm. I have both. Those single coil pickups and volume knob location bug the hell out of me. Plus the humbuckers sound way nicer, you get 24 frets on the dean, plus its less expensive.

  • ok cool.. thanks alot bro, this really helped me ;)

  • yea squire are hit and miss some suck some dont. mine sucks :(

  • lol that sucks

i have a friend with a squier, and i hear him complaining about it all the time

  • well squiers are bad guitars thats that

but this guitar is terrible it doesnt just sound bad its annoying you agree that a squier is better then a Dean Vendetta right

  • nah get the squier its more bluesy but it sounds better

ps i think you should save a little more money and get a better guitar because those two guitars arent good. get like a epi les paul or a g 400

  • well, im looking for more of an alternative/metal rock style

besides, for 89 bucks you really cant beat it ;)

but the squier might have some things i can use..

  • well, im looking for more of an alternative/metal rock style

besides, for 89 bucks you really cant beat it ;)

but the squier might have some things i can use..

  • Do you recommend this guitar? Im a beginner:]

  • Yes. Probably the best beginner guitar for 100 bucks. Low action, easy to play, dual humbuckers. Sure, it won't sound or feel as nice as more expensive guitars, but if you don't know if you want to fork out hundreds of dollars for a guitar yet, its a good investment.

  • I don't like distortion in this guitar...

  • is that boss metal zone your using?

    MT-2?

  • Got one myself in black, got rid of the shitty pickups for some Seymour Duncans and it's beastly

  • this guitar is not worth new pickups... i bought a hamer and it feels much better.

  • i have the one in trans black last month

  • nice riff, can you tab that

  • haah!

  • i just got one of these

  • same here

  • just got back from guitar center and picked one of these up its amazing

  • i had an xm very nice guitar doesnt stay in tune well though and pickups could be better but you got what u pay for. much better than a squier i think

  • dude. i got this guitar 2 days ago.

and i already know how to play

the begiinning of SOS by the jonas

brothers. it kinda sounds like hard

rock. but i like it. :D

  • awesome. i have long since gotten rid of the pedal used for this. too much distortion.

  • to much distortion

  • i know.

  • I got one for my birthday and I love it

    Recommended!!

  • turn he distortion down a litle bit it sounds like crap

  • lol thanks for the comment. i agree. thats supposed to be a clean riff but i played it through my pedal for some reason.

  • i'm gonna get one soon , are your pick-ups stock? and hows the neck ?

  • stock pickups and everything... guaranteed the best new guitar for 100 bucks. I think the neck is not very big and easy to slide up and down on.

  • iam an intermidiate guitarist. do u think this guitar would be good

  • depends on what you have now and what your looking for... also if you can spend like 200 i would get the vendetta 1.0

  • i agree.. i got my vendetta 1.0 for 150 bucks off ebay and i love it. ive played the XMs too, they are also nice but you get what you pay for.. so, if you have the cash get the 1.0, and if you dont, the XM is good.....

  • your playings all right. turn the fucking treble down a bit it sounds like crap.

  • does anyone know is pinch harmonics are possible on this guitar?

  • hahaha dude pinch harmonics are possible on any guitar you just need to know how to pull em off.

  • I can do pinch harmonics on here... it is really easy if you use the bridge pickup with tone all of the way up, and a distortion pedal.

  • what r pinch harmonix Im new to guitar <=)

  • but ive been trying on my old guitar for sooo long and i cant do em. but i did get my guitar for £50 new.

  • you ARE a big dick but with no balls

  • I have that guitar, it's pretty good for a beginner like me

  • i have this guitar too, its pretty sweet considering the price

  • I have that guitar, it's actually pretty damn good.
