  • Beautiful Single-Action,I am going to get me 1,GREAT Review!!! Thanks

  • Id love to see the back side of a 2x4 that you shot with that, see the entry and exits and compare them

  • sexy beef

  • Beautiful weapon, very nice

  • Man I love the .44 mag!! Do you reload your brass?

  • 2:37 This gun have nice reload :)

  • gosh freakin dangit that thing is pretty

  • My goodness, that's a fine looking firearm. I'm not much on 44, but I'd consider it for something that nice. Wish they'd make a similar one in 357

  • nice vid

  • any idea of the price please

  • help, a can is attac......

  • someone should carry this

  • I haven't had a can problem but those pumpkins are giving me the eye lately...

  • @hickock45 i do not understand what you mean by the older versions and how the hammer is resting on a live round? Could you please explain because i just found a good priced older blackhawk and this is kind of scaring me off.

  • I have this gun and i was using 38 sp. and the gun stoped cocking what could have done this.

  • @smellyshroom115 I have an old Blackhawk that did that a while ago. I took it apart, cleaned it up, and oiled it, and now it works just fine. Try cleaning and oiling the cylinder a bit, see if it'll spin freely. Though, mine is older, so it probably has different guts than the new model Blackhawk or the Super Blackhawk. Couldn't hurt to try, eh?

  • dont think them 7 dislike people think a 44s that tuff...

  • So this is how hickok waters his plants.

  • @imRyRy ...plants? lol there is so much lead in the ground im surprised anything grows

  • my uncle in florida has this gun, we went down the range with it he had the .44 and a .22 ruger both really good guns. thanks for posting this video :)

  • finally, a gun, penetrating coke cans... after decades of research, they aren´t a threat anymore

  • watching hickock shoot is like watching bob ross paint.

  • I used to have a Super Red Hawk with a 7.5 in. barrel god I miss that gun. It was real fun to shoot. Have you had the pleasure of playing with one of them?

  • My stepdad has got one of those, I love shooting it. I don't shoot .44 special rounds though, I shoot .44 magnum rounds. we hand load bullets and some times we hand load the .44 with black powder. best thing ever.

  • hickok ist the best!

  • not the best gun for a zombie invasion...

  • I've got a .22 Magnum almost exactly like this, sure is a beauty:D

  • @20BlueWolf sure it is ... sure it is

  • @freddykill13 wait....was that sarcasm?

  • @20BlueWolf No ?

  • I absolutely love the sound it makes when you eject the casings.

  • haha que estouro heim !!! xD

  • fresh load...........hahhahahahahah!

  • Why are there no cutouts on the outside of the cylander?

  • @opie3c To make the cylinder stronger for heavier ammo.

  • You really do sound like Bob Ross.

  • That right there's a beautiful piece of craftmanship.

  • "did he fire 5 or did he fire six?" dirty harry reference!!! great movie, Clint Eastwood was one badass guy!!!! great video, i can definitely see myself buying one of these guns in the future

  • Thats one sexy gun.

  • I love the trutv clip, but gave them a thumbs down for calling you a dumb ass, dumb asses

  • his camera captures sound so well the sound of the catridges slipping into the chamber goes through me ,great vid :)

  • Comment removed

  • man i like how the loading gate works the mechanism

  • Is it ok to come to your place when the zombie apocalypse comes?

  • make that fucker jump

  • Love ruger, they make so many great guns !!

  • That thing is a work of art!

  • @JUKEBOXX1990 I expect the cylendar to release out the side :-P

  • i truely hate the way it loads and unloads.

  • @Soletmod I hate YOU.

  • @Soletmod its an old gun what do u expect

  • An elegant weapon from a more civilized age.

  • That's a really cool cowboy gun.

  • Dammit hickok! Now I have another gun to buy. It never ends! I'm going to be broke if I keep watching your videos...

  • she's a beauty, for sure!

  • Revolvers are

    FUNNNN

  • one thing i allways wondered on.

at ur range there is alot of lead going around.

lead is toxic so does it harm the forrest or nature in anny way?

  • DANG that thing is a BEAST

  • Btw, .44 is super black hawk.

  • I've been wanting one of these for the last 10 yrs. Finally got one. All I can say is- get one! You wont be disappointed. Luv it! Finest weapon in my arsenal.

  • My dream single action 44! What a beautiful gun. Been wanting one of these for years.

  • nice,

  • I love this video.

  • Can we see some more zombie vids?

  • I never seen you shoot at a frozen block of ice !! I would like to see that !!!!

  • I remember the first time I shot my dads .44 mag I was terrified but of course I was 14 so the recoil did hurt a little :)

  • That is one sexy gun.

  • the way you were describing as you were shooting... it was pornographic!

  • arma linda :D

  • I was actually afraid that when you shot the first can that the bullet would have shook the tree enough to knock down the clay. Then i had to remind myself that these guns aren't nearly as powerful as they seem.

  • I need a gun, I was attacked by a can while going home yesterday.

  • @kaiser5676

Damned cans, think they can mug humans and get away with it? We need more people like Hickok45, who realize the great threat that we receive from cans.

  • white paint?? :D

  • This gun looks cool

  • gotta watch for zombies XD

  • nice sized hole left in the tree at 4:25 from shooting the 1gallon jug.

  • why does it have a remington tumbler?

  • @1991Boarder24 It says .44 "Remington" Magnum on the cylinder.

  • Fired one of those down in Alabama. That thing really is heavy as hell

  • That is one sexy firearm. Just saying.

  • I wish hickock45 was my uncle.

  • @UrbanDecae81 I wish he was my grandpa

  • Given your extensive gun collection and proficiency with them, do you think you could survive a zombie attack?

  • @Dagyo23 Hickok will be the Lone Survivor. He may have to repopulate the human race!!!

  • @NotElmerKeith if hes a lone survivor how would he repopulate.......

  • @TheBassGuitarist1 Spontaneous generation most likely.

  • hmmm could be a very good zombie slayer if your not in a hurry or about to be eaten :p

  • lol "lets get em again!"

  • Glad to see this video. I've been thinking of getting a .44 mag and was looking at this exact model. Thanks again Hickock!

  • That blisterine stuff is frigging poison, in our household its called nuclear waste... works well though :D

  • @MahanHalkoja I notice I haven't got any canker sores since I started using Listerine. That stuff is amazing.

  • I love this beautiful single action .44 mag >;] Im soo gonna get me one of these

  • Ahhhhhh, i love the sound of those rounds going into the cylinders.

  • .44 magnum has a bit too much recoil for me but i'm fine with .357:)

  • Have you killed any zombies with it yet? It would probably be a nice gun for zombies as long as they're not too many of them, but it might be a good idea to carry one of your tomahawks with it too just in case. Btw how does Gunner feel about zombies is he scared of them? maybe the other way around? lol

  • Detective Hartigan's gun in Sin City.

  • Hey Hickok, which pump action shotgun would you recommend? An 870 or a mossberg 500 I have a 1911 and a couple of over unders but my house was broken into last month right after I got back from vacation and I was thinking about buying one for self defense

  • I like my guns, and I like my women,44s

  • yesssssssss

  • you sir are the bob ross of shooting.

  • @Gmonee1234 I think you mean the ejector rod...

  • This in the hands of Tuco Benedicto would be devastating.

  • sexy thing!

  • Bob Ross, lol. No mistakes, just happy accidents... I've shot a Vaquero in 44mag... One mean shootin' pistol. Always and adventure when we take that to the range. As always, great vid Hick.

  • life is good..... damn right it is when you get to shoot the guns you do!!! :)

  • Sometimes when i watch Hickok45 it has the same relaxing effect on me like im watching Bob Ross maybe its your voice tone or someting lol

  • @densterr He does sound like Bob Ross!!! Hey look at those pretty little clouds.....

  • @densterr Sometimes it's just more fun to watch other guys doing the trigger pulling, as is the case with Hickock here.

  • @Tyrfingr true and its also better for my ears as i can lower the volume on my pc haha

  • you must have a nice clean breath having so many listerine bottles :)

  • I love stake!

  • You sound like dirty Harry. Good vids.

  • I really enjoy watching Your Videos....So Please don't shoot paint Cans Up Close anymore...

  • do you get to keep all your guns that you get to show

  • magnificent! i love that loading gate mechanism in revolvers (when i'm not going to war, that is!)

  • Gotta love it....

  • I could actually smell that paint

  • clay pigeons what clay pigeons

  • damn, thats a nice piece, i love my ruger black hawk new, it has a 10 1/2 inch barrel but i need to get it tapped for scope mounts, awesome single action

  • I found this vid quite relaxing for some reason lol. Nice upload hickok

  • damn! that gun looks nice to own!

  • hey hickok, can you do a review on levershotguns?

    Greets form holland:D

  • nice pistol thanks

  • does anyone else absolutely love the clicking every single gun makes when operating it? :D

  • @JohnTheRipper2 almost as sweet as a shotgun. almost.

  • @JohnTheRipper2 Absolutely, there's nothing more soothing than that clicking sound!

  • If I ever bump into you on my US trip, I'd love to buy you a drink or 10! Love the videos, currently green with envy, that is such a beautiful piece.

  • That is one good looking firearm. Adding it to the list

  • hickok could you please make more of those funny zombie movies? :-)

  • do you a 14 year old kid like me could shoot that gun with the .44 Special? It would be extremly cool to try out. :)

  • @Lajjnus87 You could shoot it with 44 magnum.

  • @Lajjnus87 Im 14 and 5 foot 8 inches and 125 pounds and I shot my uncles smith and wesson 629 with magnums its kicks pretty good but still very fun and enjoyable.

  • Sweeet, sweeet piece ... thank for sharing "45."

  • Hi Hickok, I was hoping you could take the public defender out to play or not. Thank you for your videos.

  • Nice work on the paint can..lol....Ruger is the pistol of choice at the gun club where I shoot S.A.S.S., although in .357. Did my first Wild Bunch yesterday with a 1911, lots of fun..!!

  • SWEET!!!

  • When you tune in revolver hot, it would be safe to do it with your left hand, the left thumb? What you think, mr Hickok45

  • The unloading parts are like porn. =P

  • Hickhock45 should try out the H&K G3 (G3A1)

  • dear santa i wanna shoot this gun

    in modern warfare 3

  • When I turn 21...

  • Hickok45, you're responsible for getting me into Metallic Silhouette and the Ruger New Vaquero .45 Colt!

I shot my first ram at 100 yards with it today! =D

Keep up with the awesome vids guys!

  • If it wasn't for the fact that Bill Ruger said "No honest man needs more than a 10 round magazine" I might 1 day buy a Ruger but since he DID it'll be a cold day in hell when I give his company money.

  • @Lokpyrite Screw that. I live in BS NY and I STILL defend people's rights to mags over 10 round. So asinine that we in NY can only have Pre-ban 30 rounders. :(

  • @Lokpyrite You do realize Bill Ruger is dead now right? Since then, Ruger has came out with new striker fired pistols with hi-cap mags, they also came out with a piston driven AR that comes with two 30 round mags from the factory. They have also put out factory 30 round mags for the 10/22 now as well. Just sayin'. Bill Ruger is long gone.

  • Hey Hickok could you do a vs. on the Ruger SR40c and the Springfield XD40 subcompact. thanks

  • If only that exact gun came in .357

  • Wish they made it in 41 mag since at handgun ranges it will do everything the 44 does but with 20% less recoil

  • @ipaintyou1 but but then it wouldn't be a "44.Magnum" :-)

  • I can't detect any flinching when you pull the hammer on an empty chamber - pretty amazing trigger discipline. How long have you been shooting .44 mags?

  • @jtschau, I still flinch occasionally, but I've been shooting .44 Mag since 1973.

  • @jtschau Single actions usually have a pretty light trigger pull. That helps with trigger discipline.

  • Man I love Rugers. They make some sweet firearms. I've owned several of the P series auto's, a couple of the Mark III pistols, and of course the 10/22. I am still wanting the Ruger Super Redhawk Alaskan in .454 Casull. Awesome shooting, you make that .44 look easy to shoot. Keep shooting straight and be safe.

  • Nice. Love it. Classic Revolver.

  • Every time I see one of your videos Hickok I add another gun to my To Buy List. Beautiful firearm, and great shooting.

  • A little tedious to reload, but still a beautiful firearm

  • You clearly didn't break that clay pigeon, the slug bounced off and the clay jumped over the log.

  • @iwant007 shoot, shoot, shoot and then shoot some more

  • hickok y would you purchase a single action instead of a double ?

  • Those .44 specials made some impressive wounds in that tin.

  • One thing I've really noticed from your videos is that your a great shot. Any advice on how to become an expert marksman? Shooting at close range is one, but I've seen videos where you shot very long distances with handguns.

  • hey hickock, my local gunstore has a single action .45-70!

  • What's balastall?

  • 2:20 did he fire 5 or was it 6?..... do you feel lucky?.... well do ya?

  • I thought you didn't want to get out of the habit of loading one skipping a cylinder then loading 4? Hopefully Irene hasn't seen you or yours, I'm waiting for her to show up at my door, it's 10:49 or (22:49) EST and the winds are just starting to pick up in Connecticut

  • Stayed a couple nights in TN while driving to/from SC. Such a beautiful state. While driving on the interstate I saw a fireball and several zombie parts rain down. God bless hickok45. Keepin' TN safe!

  • hickok what camera do you use?

  • umm yeah I wasn't expecting that from the paint can lol great video thanks

  • arent those casinbgs hot after you shoot them?

  • I love this gun in Harley Davidson and the Malboro man:

Marlboro: You know, that gun costs about two dollars every time you fire it. That's two bucks a bullet.

Harley Davidson: Well how many'd I hit?

Marlboro: You spent twelve dollars and didn't hit a goddamn thing. I nailed one and it cost about four and a quarter.
