I saw "The Del Vikings" in Wildwood, NJ @ the Fabulous Fifties Weekend & these guys sound as good as or better than the group that I heard who were supposed to be the "original or part of the original group. I'm 64 & have an original 45. I think it's GREAT that there are some young folks still singing & obviously enjoying doo wop.
They were on tune for most of it and the lead singer was just fine I dont know what everyone was talking about. This is the choral version of the song NOT the Viking version (which is also wonderfufl). I thought they did a wonderful job actually. And how the hell is the lead singer gay? he sang the song almost perfectly for the choral version (albeit a few pitch problems)
very boring... this song should make you jump out of your seat and dance. Nice try though. Dont be scared to get down with your bad self every now and then ;)
The biggest form of flattery is imitation. I am glad to see these young cats singing a classic song from the past. Looks like they and the audience had fun and that is what its all about.

Pretty good, guys, except you shouldn't have to blow each section's pitch. Each person should be able to hear what their note is before singing.
