Hey Richard, unsure if you'll remember me but you played a concert involving Beethoven's Appassionata in a town in Scotland called Irvine. Seeing you play was fantastic. You given a workshop which, I regret to say, I wasn't allowed to play in as my teacher insisted that only one of us was given a lesson by you.

At the end a friend and I helped you pack up and walked you to your car. The chat we had was good and it's helped me to keep playing piano.

Just wanted to say thanks, you're a good man.

Me and my friend got a scholarship for free lessons with him in London, and I can safely say he's the best piano teacher I've ever had, better even than any other teachers at my school... his methods are genius, it's great! The Skype idea is an interesting one too, and could become a great success - plus it provides people who can't have lessons as conveniently as others to not be penalised; fantastic! I'm surprised nobody's thought about it before! :)

Wow! What a fantastic ground breaking idea! I particularly love the idea of Skype surgery. Richard is a genius at making practice as effective and time efficient as possible, but this takes it to a whole new level!
