Have you ever checked out the Quakers? Some are athiests. Their general consensus (there is no dogma) is that the truth is within in every person and we only need to look inward to find it. No middle man. Only being faithful to what our heart leads us to.

If you're being sincere, Pino, I'm not sure why you feel as though you have to either accept or reject. You do mention the condition "if it means that someone out there cannot share it with me". That's a big "if". When you thank God for being made known to you, I'm left wondering exactly how you mean that. Are you referring simply to what people (or books) *say* about God, or something more direct?
Well, I do not believe in any of the Gods that have ever been worshipped by any human being. So this, necessarily, had to be a hypothetical video. *If* I were to experience one of those Gods that imposes conditions, *this* is how I would address it.
I haven't believed in that sort of god since I was around 12, if I ever did. Come to think of it, I don't remember ever believing in that sort of god. He just isn't consistent with (what I take to be) the central idea, which is good news. Maximally good news.
If there is a god with a heaven and hell I am certain this is what it is seeking to hear. I am certain that if this life is a test the test is not will you believe in order to spare yourself but rather will you deny in order to spare another.

Cheers Javier. I hadn't done it yet because I could never think of a good way of expressing how I felt about it. For somebody like me who simply doesn't believe, "I deny the holy spirit" has kind of a hollow ring to it. I wanted to flesh it out a bit.
I did it twice. The first time was also the first time I ever used a webcam. The second time I did what is called "host desecration" because that is what I was taught in Catholic school to be the worst form of blasphemy.
I've made similar comments on video's addressing this subject. In fact I totally lost my cool in response to a comment by TogetherForPeace on TheoreticalBullshit's Dear Christian video.
I think the Holy Spirit is a real bastard. Say one bad thing about him and it's unforgivable. He probably thought up Hell. I bet God & his kid say, "Sorry... this wasn't OUR idea," before they kick people into the fiery inferno.

If it is an imagination why do you go in a great length to deny Him. Real people? those people who you say don't have a soul? who have evolved from monkeys? You see them as bags of blood and bones,those are what you called real people without a soul? The fact that you don't love God proves that you don't love "real" people around you. If you would have love them, you would have guide them to Heaven, to eternal life. But No, you rather send them to Hell. That is not loving.

Great message. I'm not sure I could be so polite to the celestial-dictatorship.
It astounds me so many religious folk are so accepting of a punishment system that is so obviously unjust. Outright rebellion & opposition rather than mere polite rejection seem more appropriate to me. Any 'politeness' on my part would be mere delay tactics to see if I could avoid being crushed like a bug - and as their evil god woud see through that anyway.. not much point!

If you're being sincere, Pino, I'm not sure why you feel as though you have to either accept or reject. You do mention the condition "if it means that someone out there cannot share it with me". That's a big "if". When you thank God for being made known to you, I'm left wondering exactly how you mean that. Are you referring simply to what people (or books) *say* about God, or something more direct?

I haven't believed in that sort of god since I was around 12, if I ever did. Come to think of it, I don't remember ever believing in that sort of god. He just isn't consistent with (what I take to be) the central idea, which is good news. Maximally good news.
