First of all, many of you people complaining seemed to totally miss the POSITIVE drugstore reviews that she did. Try paying attention. Secondly, the Maybelline blush has been getting negative reviews all over the place. I bought one too. It does, in fact, kind of suck. Deal with retards.
Personally, I think it's unprofessional and rude for anyone in the makeup industry to be snotty about drugstore makeup. Using it doesn't make you inadequate, just as using high end doesn't make you better than anyone else. The products you use don't make you skilled. That said, I don't think Leesha is acting stuck up or snobby at all. In fact, she's being open minded and pretty cool by reviewing things that those of us who have less disposable income can afford, or might be interested in.
Why are people who love drugstore products so offended by people who prefer higher end? I love several drugstore products, but really. Compare the quality of a drugstore blush to Nars, compare drugstore eyeshadow to Inglot or MUFE. Just because someone doesn't love everything found at Walmart doesn't mean they're stuck up. They just have different preferences than you. You're the ones with your heads up your asses.

I love the wet and wild eye shadows but I agree, the packaging is horrible. I use sugar as an inner corner and brow high light and almost EVERY time I open the casing, my thumb digs into the shadow so I ruin the shadow and get shimmer white all over my hands

The thing is, it IS cheaper quality. That's why it's cheaper. Just because you like it better or it works better, has nothing to do with the actual quality of the product and it's ingredients.

ahhhhhhh perversion!!!! :) i love my zero pencil but o m gees i love that perversion is more black!! i need one of these. I usually go with liquid liner because the intensity of the black is better then in the pencil form, but no matter the brand it makes my eyes water.
Maybe it would take a little moisture to get that Maybelline blush to pick up? Elf has a similar spongy type of cream blush that I actually like because it goes on like a cream but it dries to a velvet finish, great for someone like me with super oily skin.

@RosaM215 Lip products (and many other cosmetics) don't look very appealing or professional in photos after they've been used. Who wants to see a macro shot of a used lipstick? She'd be running the risk of turning off followers. If I was in Leesha's shoes I'd do the same thing. Those who want to see swatches should try to be patient and wait for the blog post which will actually give a more accurate representation of the colours anyway.

I take the Maybelline bouncy blushes and pat them on my cheeks right from the pan. You get much better color, and then you just blend it out with your fingers.
I've watched a lot of your videos and I don't think I've ever seen a review/or mention of this, but have you ever tried Hard Candy's eyeliners? Their Stay-In-Line mechanical liner is by far the best drug store liner I have used. It goes on easy, stays on all day, with very little smudging. If you get a chance, check it out. If you have already, sorry! :)
So, I have tried like a L'Oreal liquid eyeliner. I love it but it makes my eyes get very itchy and puffy. I have been scared to waste my money on any other kinds in case I have the same reaction. Do you know of any that might not do that???

Yes finally I'm not the only one that doesn't like the Urban Decay Zero pencil...I hate that they are included with so many palettes I have like 5 mini ones I will never use! I try it on my waterline and its like nothing happens. Though I guess its okay for the top lashline.. I just ordered the new Perversion pencil lastnight! I'm pretty stoked about it hopefully it can replace my Milani Liquifyeye Pencil:) (Which is my holy grail for the waterline!)

you should check out too faced waterproof eye pencils. the black one is (seems from your footage) as black as perversion, super creamy, and a few seconds after you run it in your lid, it will NOT come off. i tried it out at Sephora and spent the whole day with a black line on my hand... I just don't know if the urban decay perversion will stay on the waterline for longer, though. that would be a very useful comparison. :)
I absolutely LOVE that almost every single drugstore product in the US is sealed, so nobody touched it before!! I would love to see this in Europe as well!!!
@MsMelysssa Practically everything available for purchase in a drugstore (and many other types of stores) here in the US is sealed up tight! It's wonderful for hygeine reasons but oftentimes it's a pain the rear to open the products, lol. Honestly, I thought that product sealing like they do here was standard practice everywhere...then again I've never been to Europe...yet! You would think that for safety/hygeine reasons it WOULD be.
@prettyspiffy616 I would rather take that kind of pain :D, than having some sort of f.cked up, messy product in your basket which was touched by a lot of people.... (So you can decide: leave it there or wipe the surface off with alcohol to make it a bit more sanitary and...)
@MsMelysssa I totally agree with you! Don't take my comment wrong..I'm happy to deal with it for mine and my family's safety. Actually thats just the kind of thing that always annoyed me about makeup counters at our stores like JCPenney's, BonTon, etc. Where they have all the testers out on the counters? THAT grosses me out big time!! Like I'm really gonna test a cream blush or eyeshadow, or a cream foundation, or a lipstick knowing that someones boogers are probably on it...ewww!!!
I won't use the Super Stay 24 Hour concealer under my eyes because once it dries it really dries out that sensitive under eye skin and creases in my fine lines. I use the Maybelline Instant Age Rewind concealer under my eyes and the 24 Hour on blemishes.
Do you wear lipcolour more often now? I remember in a video a long time ago you said you didn't wear lip stick/gloss/products very often outside of tutorials, but you always seem to be wearing them in videos and always look lovely with them! (: So I just wondered if you'd started wearing them more, or just for videos.
Thanks for talking about Perversion. I cannot seem to find a superior black liner/pencil for my waterline. Everything seems to travel on me & I'm hoping Perversion will be the answer. Anyone have any other recommendations??
I don't know if you have access to, or have ever tried the Annabelle smoothliner pencils...? They're really great and super cheap. I find that they are some of the longest wearing and super creamy pencils for the waterline that you can find in the drugstore. I live in Canada, so up here they can retail up to about 9 dollars. Walmart sells them pretty cheap. Of course they aren't the amazing quality of something like the stila smudgestick, but I found that its a pretty good low cost alternative.
Leesha, What do u suggest to do with really dark under-eye circles? I am using Krylon colour wheel concealer at the moment, and its really good- just not perfect. Any suggestions?
the photo ready airbrush sucks..such a waste of $12. it comes out as a mousse and puffs up (not like maybelline dream mousse which is much thicker) it's messy to apply and gives me no coverage at all. i'm completely disappointed.
I like the wet n wild dollhouse pink lipstick, its my fav but the downfall is it don't last long on your lips. Is their any tips to make certain lipsticks last longer on your lips?
@dropdeapretty83 The best trick is to use a good lip liner first filling in your entire lip. Go to MAC and see if you can get one of their pro-long lip liners to match. Those are the best, the last almost all day and will NOT smudge!
@frenziation It's not new, actually it was launched last year in the 15-year-anniversary but it was exclusive to this set. Now it's being sold permanently I think. Hope this help

I take the Maybelline bouncy blushes and pat them on my cheeks right from the pan. You get much better color, and then you just blend it out with your fingers.

I've watched a lot of your videos and I don't think I've ever seen a review/or mention of this, but have you ever tried Hard Candy's eyeliners? Their Stay-In-Line mechanical liner is by far the best drug store liner I have used. It goes on easy, stays on all day, with very little smudging. If you get a chance, check it out. If you have already, sorry! :)

So, I have tried like a L'Oreal liquid eyeliner. I love it but it makes my eyes get very itchy and puffy. I have been scared to waste my money on any other kinds in case I have the same reaction. Do you know of any that might not do that???

Yes finally I'm not the only one that doesn't like the Urban Decay Zero pencil...I hate that they are included with so many palettes I have like 5 mini ones I will never use! I try it on my waterline and its like nothing happens. Though I guess its okay for the top lashline.. I just ordered the new Perversion pencil lastnight! I'm pretty stoked about it hopefully it can replace my Milani Liquifyeye Pencil:) (Which is my holy grail for the waterline!)

you should check out too faced waterproof eye pencils. the black one is (seems from your footage) as black as perversion, super creamy, and a few seconds after you run it in your lid, it will NOT come off. i tried it out at Sephora and spent the whole day with a black line on my hand... I just don't know if the urban decay perversion will stay on the waterline for longer, though. that would be a very useful comparison. :)

@MsMelysssa Practically everything available for purchase in a drugstore (and many other types of stores) here in the US is sealed up tight! It's wonderful for hygeine reasons but oftentimes it's a pain the rear to open the products, lol. Honestly, I thought that product sealing like they do here was standard practice everywhere...then again I've never been to Europe...yet! You would think that for safety/hygeine reasons it WOULD be.

@MsMelysssa I totally agree with you! Don't take my comment wrong..I'm happy to deal with it for mine and my family's safety. Actually thats just the kind of thing that always annoyed me about makeup counters at our stores like JCPenney's, BonTon, etc. Where they have all the testers out on the counters? THAT grosses me out big time!! Like I'm really gonna test a cream blush or eyeshadow, or a cream foundation, or a lipstick knowing that someones boogers are probably on it...ewww!!!

I won't use the Super Stay 24 Hour concealer under my eyes because once it dries it really dries out that sensitive under eye skin and creases in my fine lines. I use the Maybelline Instant Age Rewind concealer under my eyes and the 24 Hour on blemishes.

I don't know if you have access to, or have ever tried the Annabelle smoothliner pencils...? They're really great and super cheap. I find that they are some of the longest wearing and super creamy pencils for the waterline that you can find in the drugstore. I live in Canada, so up here they can retail up to about 9 dollars. Walmart sells them pretty cheap. Of course they aren't the amazing quality of something like the stila smudgestick, but I found that its a pretty good low cost alternative.

the photo ready airbrush sucks..such a waste of $12. it comes out as a mousse and puffs up (not like maybelline dream mousse which is much thicker) it's messy to apply and gives me no coverage at all. i'm completely disappointed.

I like the wet n wild dollhouse pink lipstick, its my fav but the downfall is it don't last long on your lips. Is their any tips to make certain lipsticks last longer on your lips?

@dropdeapretty83 The best trick is to use a good lip liner first filling in your entire lip. Go to MAC and see if you can get one of their pro-long lip liners to match. Those are the best, the last almost all day and will NOT smudge!

@frenziation It's not new, actually it was launched last year in the 15-year-anniversary but it was exclusive to this set. Now it's being sold permanently I think. Hope this help
