that was probally a powermove, they needed engines elsewhere so they stuck them on a train going that direction

I once saw a BNSF train in Minnesota with 12 locomotives and over 100 cars. A long train indeed!.

Wow the most I've seen was 5 on a CN train it was carrying 65 cars mostly car carriers for GM n Oshawa
