Ooh were those church ladies MAD. There is nothing worse than an angry church lady from below the bible belt, especially one whose casserole has been pilfered! Also I think Matilda is the cutest thing on four legs! XD
Did you notice how the "Leblebeh" (sp?) seemed a lot like the fried black eyed pea dish he described on "Best Thing I Ever Ate", the 'totally unexpected' episode?
I think it was really cool how AB showed us how to make a variant of one of his own personal favorite restaurant dishes!
Why is it that no one learns from War? Why is it that we carry older generations' problems into our daily lives and think it's OK? Let's leave our governments' politics out of it, put history behind us and come together as human beings. Everyone regardless of nationality or politics needs to eat. And I'm hungry for some Good Eats!
can i ask why people do petty arguments on things not related to the showing and such it really bugs me i mean every good eats and any other vid really there has been some form or another so all i ask is you guys stop doing the like the hat up loads these vids for us and if i saw this i would be upset that you guys do such things and i would stop uploading if all i get is these arguments but i guess like the hat doesnt mind but still stop fighting
Wrong, Brown is a chef. He graduated New England Culinary Institute. Now I might say that do other chefs cook the food on the show. It is possible like any other cooking show. It is a show. And might even say that he has consultants on cooking techniques. So whats the point? He delivers sound cooking advice in a unique matter that I enjoy over other shows.
Jedi is right, other chefs DO cook the food on the show, along with Alton. He even says so right up front in the Behind Good Eats episode (which is real cool, check it out). Thats why his stuff is actually GOOD, they all get together and try every recipe they can find until they decide on the best ones and put them on the show. Best cooking show on TV!

I'm not at all "Full of anger" as you assume. Is it common for you to poke your nose into others opinions? I could understand an American taking offence to my comment, but really, I guess its true, Monkeys can be taught to type...good day to you.
He is, like his prop puppets, a puppet himself...like the country he resides in. Just keep do'in that over there, don't come to us when you have no clean water to drink. You Americans make me sick
For your information, I'm in Italy, and the second video is also not available here. But yes, I can give you a possibility - America broadcasts in a different format than Europe, so sometimes you can't watch videos or clips because of that. Why you can watch some videos like part 1 and not others, like part 2, I don't know exactly but assume it's some glitch related to that. Is there some reason you're so full of anger?
Shut up, we don't want to listen to racist american trash on Good Eats and don't correct the english language of others when you spell 'mispell' as 'misspell' yourself. Too funny.
@garlicks75 Dude not all Americans are like the stereotypes make us out to be. Not all of us are "Don't like the country then get out!" or "I just bought me a new gun today lets shoot some illegal's!" Some are kind people who respect other cultures and do their best to make the lives of people around them better. Please do a little more studying before you bash a hole country.
@marieariel If the sodium of one pack of ramen is distributed throughout an entire casserole, would you still claim it to be too much? Seems like the right amount to me.
The only known episode in GE history in which the title has not been mentioned or alluded to in the intro. But at least we get to see Matilda the hound! :)
i found it. i watched the first part b4 this one so i know its over under "Related Videos" just search "Good Eats S6E11P2: Casserole Over" that's how i find my episodes. if that doesn't work then i dont think u can get it wherever u happen to live.
Yeah thats what I said, you live in the states therefore you can acess it. The other person can not because they live somewhere else. Also just go to LikeTheHat's channel and look at all his videos, they're in chronological order. Searching them is a big waste of time.
WOW THAT WAS FAST!!! I just submitted my comment and POOF (i know, im wierd) there's your comment.

I have a casserole I love making called chicken casserole. You basically chop up boneless skinless chicken breast into strips, cook it, mix a big can of cream of mushroom soup with a big dallop (1/3-1/2 cup) of mayo and pour in some milk, mix that up, then have corn (or any frozen or canned veggie) on the bottom, chicken, and then pour in the mushroom mix, w/ cheese on top. Put in oven to warm everything to the same temp, serve over rice.
you are right, one packet of Ramen is like 63% of your daily intake, plus salt mean bad news. But maybe because it seasoning a whole casserole, it isn't so bad.

Alton Brown is not a Chef, just a TV personality. All the grunt work is done in the kitchen by real chefs, and then Alton Brown takes credit for it.
