That's great! Please tell me what is meant by "del Alegría", and is it a place in Panama? Or, does it mean being connected? What does the phrase "me llevas" mean in English, por favor. Does it mean "carries me" ? I want to learn to play this and a few other latino folk songs on the guitar. I can sing the lyrics but don't understand all of them. Grácias.
@elbichon11 I got your answer to my question in my inbox, but now I see that it is deleted here. I don't know why. Thank you for telling me the meanings of the phrases I was having difficulty understanding. I am learning to play some songs in Spanish on my guitar and then sharing them with kids in my community. I have some Spanish, but I am not fluent. I like to understand the words I am singing, which also helps me improve my Spanish vocabulary. Grácias!
@jtixtlan Hi! I´m Panamenian! regarding to your question "del alegría" meant "from hapyness" , it is not a place, In Panamá people is always happy by this reason this song was created in order tourist can singing with us to finally meet the happyness!
@Yuli100084 Grácias. That is helpful. I love this song. Now when I sing it, I know what it means. Is this a song that all children in Panama learn? I hope I will visit Panama some day.
