@Harlingtonjnr3 Free squats are more difficult since the full weight is supported by the leg. It's also difficult for people with tight calves because we can't properly dorsi flex.
Amosov squat allows better RoM and higher repetitions for a pump, it's an assistance move. Big help is that you can pull your knees forward. You can do this with free squats using a counterweight but that can be hard to balance and creates extra shoulder flexion work.
This is why I always wear flip flops or shoes when I'm in a hotel. Never know what kind of foot fungus or germs the guy before you had.

And what part of this requires an expensive piece of rope hanging from the door? maybe just do free squats?
