@Chickenmanbat cool i subbed since you are one of the reviewers here on youtube that replys back 2 comments but i think its ridiculous that mattel seems 2 charge more than dc direct and most of the figures from dc direct have better detail but one more question do you know if the mattel legacy arkham figures have better detail or u dont know cuz its tough 2 know which brand is better 2 get i know dc is but the mattel ones i can find at the store but they do seem 2 run out quickly

@LAKERSRon15Artest I've held the Mattel Arkham figures in hand. Every now and then, I'll go to our local Toys R Us and I always find them there. I don't know if you have tried there yet, but if not, go for it. Those Mattel Arkham figures just looked and felt cheap, which is why I didn't buy them. The packaging on them isn't too bad, especially that they come in 2 packs. I just can't get myself to buy them.

@Chickenmanbat yea thats what i heard but i heard if u collect the legacy edition they seem 2 have a little more detail on the figure but idk and yes i have tried toys r us and they were sold out some asshole apparently bought all the figures at the store yesterday and i was pretty pissed cuz they were legacy edition where i live the only places 2 acquire these figures is either toys r us or online but thanks 4 the reply

@LAKERSRon15Artest DC Direct seem to be higher quality and they look better for the most part. Mattel seems to be targeted towards kids, toys that are meant to be played with. Also, Mattel can be found in most stores, such as Walmart. DC Direct figures can be for kids at times, but they seem to be more for collection, as they can be displayed.

@LAKERSRon15Artest It's my preference, I prefer what DC Direct has done for the Arkham figures. I know Mattel's Arkham City Catwoman is looking better than the DC Direct figure that will be in stores in a few months. DC Direct gave her an man face haha. I guess try to see both in person, if you can and decide for yourself. The only Mattel figures I own are from The Dark Knight... which aren't too bad. It just depends on the figure.

I just found out about this today. Not sure if I want them all or not or just Joker but is Toywiz a good site? They have all of them set to pre order for june yet ain't series one already out?

@Gamemaster64 Yes, Toywiz is a great site. They have a lot of brands, and I've gotten things from them before. I've always gotten them in perfect condition from Toywiz. The only issue is that they may be expensive at times. Try Urban-collector (the link is in my description), they have both series 1 and 2 for 64.99, that's $20 cheaper than Toywiz has it. And Yes, Series 1 has been out for a while, but this is a 2nd batch release, since I'm sure they sold out everywhere a few months ago.

@Gamemaster64 Yeah, then Toywiz may be your best bet to get them separately. I just hate the thought of paying $30 for each. You could try Ebay, just make sure the seller has an outstanding rating and the figures are new/unopened. Or you may get lucky and find them at your local comic book shop, every time I've gone to mine, I still find them there.

Do u kno who the main villain of The Dark Knight Rises is? I think it's gana be Penguin, alot of people rumored the Riddler. I know it can't be Catwoman or Bane, cus I mean Catwoman isn main villain material, Bane's jest a thug, n so the main villain's gotta be the ingenius type right?

(Btw I do kno Catwoman and Bane are apperearing in the movie, but I know there's jest gotta be one more villain who'll pull off being the main one.)

@Christopher3772 You do realize that Bane has never been portrayed on film perfectly right? He's not just about his strength, but he is Batman's intellectual match as well. As far as Catwoman, only time will tell, but I'm excited to see what Ann Hathaway brings. And it's been confirmed, No Penguin, No Riddler, No Mr. Freeze. And to be honest, I feel the bigger challenge for Batman will be redemption in the eyes of Gotham aftter TDK. It's being filmed right now, so more will be revealed soon.

@Chickenmanbat Nah, Bane's not even close to Batman's intellectual stadards (I've neva even seen da movie he comes out in) He has an average mentality, I've seen him in a few comics, n I've seen all da cartoons he comes out in, he's vicious n shit, but notice that everytime he comes out, he's always with some1, whether it's a villain or jest a random ass mob family, I jest can't see Bane as a main villain, his whole motivation is killing Batman, n that's where the problem lies.

Do more research about Bane, and you'll see the overall consensus of his character. The venom he takes enhances not just his strength and speed, but his brain as well. Yeah, his motivation is to kill Batman, but don't "most" of Batman's villains share the same idea? No problem there. Till now, Bane has never been portrayed perfectly in film, games, or cartoon.

Great video and review. I was wondering where you got your glass shelf? I've been looking for something like that to display my figures and statues (I'm just starting out collecting) and I can't seem to find them online or at local stores.

@retromusicvidz A lot of people who have opened these, like me, have unopened backups. I'm not out to resell any of the figures I buy, so I say let them go up in price. These aren't rare, since they're not exclusives. There are plenty of places to buy them right now for great prices and there will be in the future, you just have to know where to look and not settle for an 'individual seller's high price.'

@legottgames I mention it at 2:13. The drawback to this type of plastic, is that once it's open there's no putting it back to normal. The casing for these figures was a lot easier to open than I expected, because of the dotted lines around the corners of the case. - Just like tearing out notebook paper.
