"A holy war will now begin on America, and when it is ended America will be supposedly the citadel of freedom, but her millions will unknowingly be loyal subjects to the Crown....in less than two hundred years the whole nation will be working for divine world government. That government that they believe to be divine will be the British Empire." -- Cornwallis to Washington(quoted by Jonathan Williams in 'Legions of Satan', 1781)
they should be hung!!! how do we do that? can we file a class action lawsuit against the administration for raping the constitution? i doubt the congress will do ANYTHING!!!
That having said, I say the democrats position on impeachment before the elections were not merely posturing, but i think they will stand by that. Mckinney's filing for impeachment, i think will sadly be overlooked. It's left for all of us to change things peacefully.
i doubt the dems will do much to improve the situation without a huge concerted effort of the voters...they are as bought into the whole deal as anybody--just look at the 200 and 2004 elections...
yes sc, I'm inclined to that. I think too, your Democratic party can't or won't do much on that impeachment. The people of America has to bring matters up to the relevant representatives and never give up.
ps. Sorry to 'butt' in into this. I am not American (my girl is though)
The preamble is a pretty "useless" part of it. The constituion's main problem is that it is open to many and infact all sorts of interpretation. Like any legal "mumbo jumbo" it ought to be 'open' or simplified to all LAYMAN. We know of course this won't happen...cont-
