Why does this paint Obama to be some sort of food angel? He's the one who appointed Monsanto execs to the FDA to keep our food poisoned in the first place.
@starmekitten obama was just being served the food in this video. what the video is pointing out is how republicans want to further erode our food safety by taking away regulations that are curerntly in place to protect consumers health from the reckless and careless behaviors of others. MOST americans would not want to eat a burger that has fallen onto the floor at your local fast food joint, picked up, then served to you; let alone have all those things from the video in your burger.
@zanderfactor I think your miss-informed about the FDA and who runs it. They are run by X monsanto lobbyist. That have legalized genetically modified plants. The newest gmo release is alfalfa and is directly attacking organic farming specifically. Obama has passed some very disturbing bills like S510 among others. I highly suggest you watch future of food or Food Inc. Genetically modified corn is in everything you eat. This corn kills insects that bite it wonder what that does to us?
What about the "Food Safety" Bill they just passed, raping this country of any small farmers & having organic food ever again ?
I am wary of additional such bills. I know Monsanto engineered the last one, so I'm not suprised if there's still an actual need, but the brought in FEMA on that thing.
@TheCajun124 I don't know where you heard such ridiculous rumors about the Food Safety Modernization Act but your statement about not having organic food is just plain wrong. Big agribusiness companies like Monsanto were actually against this bill. In fact, Food & Water Watch has info on their site

The guy who drafted this bill was the top monsanto lobbyist who is now top adviser for FDA appointed by obama. The USDA is run by monsanto as well Tom Vilsack who was also appointed by Obama. if you ever have a concern about the food we consume this is the goverments answer " everything is ok the water is safe the meat was inspeacted everything is just fine" they are never going to admitt the truth! the U.S goverment will explode other countries and just make it seem like the other countries are evil so they could get their way out to get oil or what ever is cheap!
if its sopposedly safe for us to eat all that meat with amonia he should eat it!! just how the U.S. can set military bases in other countries and explode them! other countries should be able to come here and do the same! the goverment just looks for many ways to make money not to make things safe or healthy for us the american people they dont care if we get cancer ,diabetes and other illneses they just care about the money! its so sad we are living in a terrible country like the U.S.
@sandra10031 This county is far from terrible. We have more civil liberties than many other countries. That being said, it is far from perfect. There are many things that need to be changed. You're not going to get change by bashing your country on the internet. People have to take action and stop whining. Educate yourself and take charge. If you are unwilling to do that and you hate it here so much then maybe you should move.
