Aloha! This is Sherron Nohea Allen, Henry is the one making all the "bird calls" and the only vocalist with the group! he toured with Marty for over 4 years. Martin Denny was one of the best :band Leaders, "boss" that he had ever worked with and for! Work or now work, he got paid $500.00 a week int he 50's! @kotfather I wouldn't call it the worst, but certainly not original. It's easy today with all these composite pop-stars and bands to give the impression of originality. The Black Eyed Peas is one of those bands that hits the listener with something that seems new and fresh, but it's just taken from an area of music the rest haven't picked through yet to find a sound.

According to Wikipedia, Martin Denny passed away in 2005 st the age of 93. They quote him as saying he was surprised and happy at the renewed attention his music is getting. I love his music also, it brings back many good memories for me.
