This is a great video. My father past on March 22 of this year and he loved Felipe La Voz. My father was a great singer and he imitated Felipe very well I might add. I grew up hearing my father singing these songs. When I saw this video I could¿nt help but cry at the good memory's of my father sing and playing the guitar. Thank you for that.

Hi erod1212, I was born in PR, and moved to the US when I was a kid. I have a Aunt in PR that everytime she sees me she says, "there goes my little Felipe". I saw this viedo while going on U Tube and I must say that is a treat to have seen him for the first time in my life. After Balseiro left Los Antares, Vitin Otero came in as lead voice and was substituted by Luis Angel Arroyo (Rey Arroyo's brother). In November 1959 Mickey Vega joined the trio for a few years. He also had a short stint with "Los Caciques" around 1972. I heard through the grapevine that Mickey resides in Houston, TX

Hey there. FYI My dad Mickey Vega still lives in Puerto Rico. He has three sons, Michael, Angel and Javier. Michael and Angel are Retired Marines and Jay works for a Utilies Company.

I met Teddy around 1955 in Ponce before he joined Los Antares. I remember his composition "Dos Petalos" as maybe the first recording he made with Felipe and Los Antares (Teddy-Eddie-Vitin). Give him our best regards.
