No mirrors. The back wall recedes into the distance and gets taller from left to right, maintaining the squared perspective. The squares also change size and shape perspectively to give the illusion of consistency. Think about how stretched out "stop" is painted on the road if you look straight down at it, but at an angle it is compressed to normal size from the view of the driver. This illusion only works if you look straight from the front.

We had something like this at a local science center in my town. It's not a mirror, but the illusion has to do with the way the room was built, as others have said.
Close but no it isnt. Its actually a room with a slanted wall. They look like they are shrinking because they are walking away from the camera because the room slants that away from the camera.
Your right, you can tell by the roof and the floor on the left side of the screen. There is a shorter distance between the ceiling and the floor so it smaller on the left side. Good observation, I don't know where people got the idea of a mirror illusion though...
No wrong dude. The left side of the room is closer but the ceiling and door is smaller causing it to look the same size as the right side. SInce closer things are bigger they made everything on the left built smaller to make it appear like the entire room is evenly close.
It's an optical illusion created by the way the room is built. if you walk to the left you get closer to the camera (and look bigger) but if you walk to the right you get farther (and look smaller)
