I find it pretty interesting that the first sidekick of Batman in this series wasn't Robin but Batgirl. It wasn't a bad decision, it's just kind of odd considering we're so use to seeing Robin first and then Batgirl.

This intro sums up the series perfectly I think. It tried to be dark and brooding like the Animated Series, yet appeal to kids at the same time. And it just makes it feel confused as to what the series wants to do IMO.

@Nation4202007 The first like 2 seasons were great. The intro was more restrained, and it was a bit darker. Then the show started to go down hill when they introduced Bat Girl and Robin. Don't get me wrong, even after that it was still a good show. It just wasn't as good as it was in seasons 1-2.

This series was great, haters gonna hate. I feel like the ones who are hating though, are old. Most of them are like, ''THE 80S WAS BETTER, THE 90S WERE BETTER, THE 60S WERE BETTER''.

Face the fact that every generation is gonna have at least one Batman or DC Related show. Not every series is gonna be amazing, so chill the fuck out. The darker, more sinister and sly tone of ''The Batman'' was and still is appealing.

I know I'm completely going against the tide, but I actually like this show more than the 1990's Batman. I mean, the 1990's series was great and all, but this show managed to strike a balance between that lighter tone and the seriousness, and the creators didn't automatically jump into "Insult your audiences intelligence and go back to Adam West-y style show" when they heard the term "Lighter tone".

Albeit the first opening being more palatable to the standard Batman theme which is supposed to be dark, I kinda prefer this theme over it's predecessor. Yes the theme is a bit off for a Batman cartoon but hey it fits the whole opening intro. And besides I think this theme is perfect to welcome new characters like Batgirl and Robin as well as evincing Batman's Rogue Gallery which has been fully developed thanks to the first series. Come on, dont tell me that the one at 0:50 isnt a cinch cool.

H-holy crap. This is awful. This is one of the worst pieces of music I've ever heard. It starts out with a kind of catchy tune until around 0:41 when it just starts clashing sounds together without even bothering with any kind of transition. The theme is definitely not for eveyone, neither is the series for that matter. A lot of the original storyline gets messed up in here. Thats not really a problem though, cuz this show never gets to be too serious about itself. Its just another version of our favourite caped crusader. As such, i luv it. This is actually pretty good. It's not as dark as The Animated Series, which is what I grew up watching. I like how it shows Batman as little more human than dark knight. On the Animated Series I don't think he ever sat in the cave with his mask off. He is still this serious dark character, but still shows off his human side. Sure the animation isn't as amazing, but at least they take us more seriously than most cartoons nowadays. I like it.
