im sorry if i offend anyone but seriously, this has got 2 b the worst bokator performance ive ever seen. I think if u wanna see a real bokator performance u should watch G.M. San Kim Saen's students in Phnom Penh. There's nothing scecial about this performance and the moves i see here aren't really similar to the moves i saw G.M. San Kim Saen's students doing.

I'm no martial arts expert, but would you not agree that many moves overlaps? For example, Hapkido has joint lock moves that is the same used in Aikido. How about armbar? Everyone does Kicking? Ditto. Low stances, knee and elbow attacks? Crouching? That's no a trademark of Hapkido. You know there is a Hapkido teacher that went to learn from San Kim Sean? He did not say it was a copy of Hapkido. Bokator has been in a rivival for only about 3 years. Give it time.

u r right the old master of bokator death a long time ago. but the kun bokator never die off they still around for a thousand year and will continue to live longer. u acted like no one know the real bokator now aday if you think like that u wrong. u should travel to srok khmer to find out the truth.

Bokator includes all styles of Khmer Martial Arts. This is one of the fighting styles of Bokator.

The ones you see with Kru San Kim Saen are the animal styles of Bokator.

The one with San Kim sean also fake, he don't know anything about Bokator all he knew is Hapkido he made that up. just like Master Chet here he ain't bok kator hes from ITF Taekwondo We been known him over 20 year all he knew is ITF taekwondo. its ok if he want to help our khmer community but i concerning the whole world gona confuse between the real one and this new blending style.

Well, Kru Chet and Kru Kim San are trying their best to preserve the art that they've learned from the several old masters they have talked to.

Also over time, techniques tend to change and adapt, and also lost, so we're trying our hardest to preserve what little techniques are left and also add from their own knowledge.

Lork Kru Oumry He the only real pradal serey khmer in town now aday. there is 2 more Khmer master in LB Kim Bengky he is Hapkido, and Master Sam Nou Hes also Taekwondo. you probably know them too.

Look, Mr. Chet, San Kim Sean, etc. all work ahard to bring Bokator into the spotlight. Now, go look at the moves, you can see there is Bokator in them. Go to any dojo, do you find any "original" Kenpo out there? Almost every teacher has his own style. THe only people who has the original style are the original people...they died long ago back in the Angkorian period.

HatedWar, let's put it this way...if you're concerned about the preservation of the original, go learn it and come help teach. What the Khmer community needs to stop doing is hate on each other. We need to unite. If we are going to wait for the "real" one like you said, it will never happen. Because, by the time the "real one" steps up, they'd all be dead anyway.
