The only thing I don't like about working with bands is that the bands pull you to a certain point on the ground. Not like chains where gravity provides all the resistance. The bands may pull you down, and backward/forward, potentially causing you to compromise your form when you unrack the weight. This can make for a very awkward feeling and even a safety issue when working with heavy weight. That's my only issue with them.
You youtube/internet self proclaimed fitness experts are so annoying. Critiquing peoples form on a video meant to show how band squats work. He didnt ask for your criticism so dont offer it.
