Lost Odyssey first 20 minutes part 1

Hi, is it usual that by skipping the cut scenes the loading period is longer?

Its just that after fighting that first machine, I skipped the scene where the soldiers die and then the loading stays there forever, it never happened to me to any XBOX 360 game! Can anyone explain to me? Thanks its a great game!

You can easily win this first boss like battle without healing.

First turn use Power potion.

Then attack left weapon then right.

Then his big weapon rise up you guard.

You attack left weapon bang his dead you attack the right one you won!
