This scene contains the biggest clue noone has ever seen. If you'll watch the clip again Ben lands in the Sahara desert in what appears to be a crater. THIS IS THE ISLANDS ORIGINAL LOCATION. The spot Ben lands in is the exact spot where the wheel was originally. It explains all the hyroglyphs and egyptian stuff on the island
Not a bad thought that, but then looking at the crater its no where as near as big as the island, the island is huge, and plus how would there have been a rainforest in the middle of teh sahara desert? Not saying thats not what it is, cos it is a well good idea, but there are points to suggest otherwise
Perhaps it was the location of the Hydra Island, the smaller island without quite so much rainforest? Maybe the two islands didn't always used to be together?
Ben go to Tunisia. And he have reserveted a hotel. It was all part of a plan. He know where and when the island will transport. It was all part of a plan. Sorry about my English, it's so bad! jeje
im from tunisia & im fuc***king crazy about Lost,im watching the whole show from the beginning ... it is really cool ! you should try to view it one more time ! .... never be lost without Lost !
Check the date of the upload. We know a lot more about the nature of things now. People were speculating Ben didn't "exit" in Tunisia as was later revealed to be the case. I was just proving my point. :)
So, how we discovered from Christian in episode 5x05, so Locke was supposed to go off the island, when finale of s4 ended up, it shouldn´t be Ben, hmm, interesting:)
Well, according to Christian, or who/what is appearing as Christian. Also Locke isn't TURNING the wheel, he's stabilizing it. It's getting good, to be sure.
Ya know, I think Widmore is the good guy. His advisor or w/e, the black guy that told Locke to go on the walk-about, is like Richard is to Ben. Maybe Widmore wanted Locke on the island, telling that guy to tell him that. And if all the people on 815 have to go back to the island, wouldn't that mean Walt had to come too?
You need to reedit this with the new footage of the teleport from the Sneak Peak 2 extended footage that just came out, search for it on youtube and you'll find it. Awesome shit!
fun fact, that desert scene was actually recorded in a dig site in hawaii, they used video editing software to change the tree's in the background to sand dunes.
I believe that the night Sayid goes to retrieve Hurley is the same night that Jack and Kate meet at the airport, and then Jack meets Ben at the funeral home. Here is why I think this- at the airport Kate's car goes through puddles ( as it has rained earlier) and also the car that is parked outside Hurley's asylum had raindrops on it. Stupid huh but I bet I'm right!!
That wasnt fake because he was still wearing the same jacket and still had the cut on his arm from when he was in that little ice area where the switch was.
This is probably how it happened, but we must not forget that he did tell Sayid, that he took Desmonds boat off the island. But maybe he just told Sayid that becuase Sayid wouldnt believe him otherwise.
Because he got transported when he moved the island. Tunisia is the drop point after transfer. The person moving the island doesn't stay on the island. Remember the polar bear skeleton with the Dharma tag?
i knew that when he put on the coat, i remembered that episode when he woke up in the desert. You also know aswel by seeing the cut that he gets when he fell. And also he had to be transported somewhere else because he is not allowed to go back to the island becauser he moved it
Well jailbreaker it certainly wasn't obvious. This is Lost we're talking about here. As viewers we're meant to remember the other scene, but we haven't seen how he gets from one place to another, and don't know FOR SURE my video is what happened. It's likely, though. It's just like how we don't know if Claire's dead or not...
It's very possible that the polar bear had also moved in space and time in the past. The DHARMA may have carried out experiments with animals. That's how it was found there.
I put this together to solve an argument on a discussion board; it didn't resolve anything, all the person kept doing was arguing that it's not a sound effect when he wakes up in tunisia, that it's music. Yeah. 10 milliseconds of music, sure.
I wonder if he lands in the crater where the island used to be?

@ahoymole ...Acctually is well known fact that whole Sahara was a fertile land covered in forest some 20.000 years ago...

So the order is
1: turned the wheel
2: landed in tunisia
3: went and recruited sayid to help him
4: sayid kills elsa
5: ben go's and sees widmore
6: ben go's straight from widmores to jack in the end of the s4 finale :D
