Awesome game!!! I love the technology in BF3, as it makes it a unique addition to the series, but always enjoy coming back to the old school weapons in Bad Co. Vietnam. Hell I even started playing that old ass Battlefield 1943 and that damn game is epic as well. LOVE the Battlefield! Each game is great in its own way. Keep it up DICE.

And btw, BF3 & BFBC2 are identical and the only difference were that BC2 had more snowy environments while BF3 had more forest environments

@MeAgainstTheRadio Canonically, BC2's ending "continues" into the Multiplayer, if you've ever read the map descriptions, with rest of the US Army fighting off the invasion. However, "B" Company's Marlowe, Haggard, Sweetwater and Redford may have an official sequel in the coming years. My guess would be before 2015.

Maybe it's because DICE makes BFBC2:Vietnam in response to Black Ops. Maybe it's because DICE hustled the Beta for BF3 out to gain fans vs. MW3.

Maybe it's because DICE has, at the behest of EA, been changed from that wonderful mod collab and studio that gave us the epic Desert Combat and Mirror's Edge into a dollar rake.

Or maybe it's because, instead of letting BF3 stand on it's own merits, EVERY mention of it by EA and their viral-post shills is vs. MW3. LET IT be different AND excellent.

@yoyofreshyo Why is it good? Because it's Battlefield... duh. Battlefield is for grown ups whereas CoD isn't, that is probably the best explaination as to why Battlefield is better. It requires skill and teamwork, not to mention it has vehicles, destructive environments and actual classes that help your team succeed. Not to mention the maps are bigger and more scenic. Also, DICE don't charge £11 for a couple of really small maps. I have played most of the BF and CoD games, and I prefer BF.

Gonna vent my thoughts here for no reason. BC2:V is all about the intensity of close quarters, and generally speaking, it succeeds in doing that. However, the lack of hard destructible cover makes maps very open and flat once it's all destroyed. Even worse is that all cover is soft, meaning being spotted allows people to shoot through a million buildings across the map and still hit you. You can't hide even if you wanted to.

Potential for map variety isn't fully exploited, just like vanilla.
