NiGHTS Journey of Dreams(Wii) gameplay - with music!

This game is so gorgeous, I bought it for my autistic sister. (It went as well as I thought that it would, she didn't give two damns about it at all)

But I still play it!

This game is hard as hell without the nunchuck, because my sensor is in a funky spot and with the just the wii mote, NiGHTS would be flying in one way and then radically to the other.

It SUCKED!

This looks a lot like the original Saturn version and looks like it plays the same. Not many gamers got to play the first game and since Wii owners seem to like crap like Birthday Bash and Cooking Mama this generation of gamers won't know this game either. Sad but if you don't buy the good games you won't see many of them on the Wii

@KTropikra I don't know what you mean by 'win', but you only need C's to get the important ending videos. Getting B's earns you nothing better than C's, and A's will only unlock some random special effects and a junk bonus video. Getting all C's is a cake walk.

That truly depends on your taste. Personally, I love it. I feel like this game is a real work of art (like Okami and Shadow of the Colossus) and is very enjoyable to play. If you played the original Nights into Dreams, you may like it more.

Short version: It's a great game, but it may not appeal to everyone.

I personally have a PS3 and although I like it, I really wish I owned a Wii (I play at my cousin's) only for this game.

I never played the 1996 Nights game, but I still loved this one even though it was short. As soon as I became comfortable with the controls, I had a lot of fun. The only part I didn't enjoy was a couple of Memory Forest's missions and the second boss fight against Donbalon. The rest of the game more than made up for that, though. The music is awesome, the gameplay is fun, and the story is touching to all but the most cold-hearted of people. If you don't mind a short game, you should get this!

you have to remeber that Nintendo and Sega have paired together which i assume is a brilliant boost for Nintendo's revenue stream. what you're forgetting is both companies designed very very diffrent games and have very diffrent design concepts and styles which a big positive as the Wii appeals to a larger target audience.

I agree Mario Galaxy is a very good game, but this imo is a classic game for the saturn being brought back, I for one welcome it. Its a very happy cheery game.

I see that there are a lot of haters of the old school type of games. Killing and blowing up stuff (heck even graphics) are not the only criteria that makes a game great. Even simple gameplay mechanics can make or break it. Look at Katamari Damacy, the game was so retarded and simple, yet it was one of the best games I (and many people across the globe) ever played. Play some of those games and you'll see what I mean.
