Do you mean one of your heroes died? Cos when I first played it I lost because of Merry dying. My strategy was to send in Aragorn, Gimli, Boromir and Gandalf to kill and leave the others behind like Legolas to keep the hobbits safe. So you have 4 killing up front. 4 as backup and 1 killing with arrows. It works almost every time.

I just started playing this game again, and all my characters keep spontaneously dying for no apparent reason, with no obvious trigger such as a cave-in.

Well its not realy discontinued its just not selling much anymore cause bought 1 not to long ago cause my cd of my original was broke.

But i aint sure where els u can buy them In Canada i only know shops in the UK like HMV. Sorry Bud.

Well if u liked the films then the 1st one cause it folows that story but the online is not so great.

if u want a different story, a story that folows elves and dwarves, and if u want a wider selection of armies i would say the second one (Online is much better aswell).
