  • hey come check out mY CHANNEL I HAVE 100000000000 VIEWS NOW TTHANX

  • Ironic how candle wax is so flammable once it catches

  • WTF?!!

  • AN UFO!!!

  • omg!!! it works! it took a couple tries but i did it!

  • @KingDingaLing090

Dude, you use way too much time and energy into making long ranting comments and /caring about things.

Its the internet, its youtube. who fucking cares.

Go out, life your life. TURN OFF THE PC NOW

  • fuck off fag.

  • I see.

    A sensitive spot.

  • TROLL FAIL

  • MudHut's are made with shit and sticks.

  • A sound observation but largley inacurrate. Mud Huts are made out of mud ( as the name implies) however this mud may contain sticks and other smaller artifacts but do not count as a main constiuant. All this however is irrelevant to the fact that you fail.

  • It appears that you have misunderstood the definiton of mud:

"Mud is a liquid or semi-liquid mixture of water and some combination of soil, silt, and clay. Ancient mud deposits harden over geological time to form sedimentary rock such as shale or mudstone (generally called lutites). When geological deposits of mud are formed in estuaries the resultant layers are termed bay muds. Mud is closely related to slurry and sediment."

    Is that any clearer?

  • Nope it doesn't, the whole of the interenets and all the dictionaries agree with me.

  • No they dont. Its a well known fact that Mud Huts were made of straw and shit.

  • *Yawn* You're starting to bore me, you still fail at trolling or maybe you are succeeding you are getting the attention you seek but this will fail if you continue to bore me so please try harder.

  • ShitHut67

  • *yawn* try again you lonely, pathetic man.

  • He succeeded in trolling you.

  • The only laughing stock here is you. What a pathetic little troll you are. Kindly crawl back under your particular rock.

  • The Most Terrifying Video You'll Ever See

Adding comments has been disabled for this video. : (

  • You think he realizes that once cap and trade legislation passes he will need to buy carbon credits from people who once heckled him to offset his footprint in this video?

  • please share how you did that!!!

  • This video proves global warming is true!

  • lol

  • Comment removed

  • The reason that wonderingmind42 stopped the comments and ratings on his global warming video is because he made a newer and better version.

  • Oh really? A better version of global warming? ....... that should be very entertaining.

What's it called? (the youtube title) I would love to see it.

  • Troll detected.

  • This 'warmer' has lost all credibility. Climategate stuck that infamous hockeystick right up his ass.

  • "Climategate" was a hoax in itself, and you fell for it, gz.

    /watch?v=7nnVQ2fROOg

  • PWAAAHAHAHAHAH!!!

    AAAAAAHAHAHAHA!!! OMG. wow...

Thats fucking awesome, my eyes are watering now. Whew!

    "a hoax in itself" AAAAAHAHAHAHAH!!!!!

If its a hoax then why didnt any of the infamous Scientists say it was a hoax? Maybe you are really this stupid, but did you know they all admitted it?

How bout Phil Jones? kekemakek AHAHA..

I think you are awesome. Tell me another one please!!

  • kekemanfuck

Are you really that fucking stupid that you believe climategate was a hoax?

Have you been letting manbearpig fuck you in the ass or what?

  • *sigh*...just watch that video I linked and you'll understand oh simple one

    /watch?v=7nnVQ2fROOg

  • Hey kekmanfuckbearpig

    LMFAO

    Keep trying oh pathetic one.

  • Is this guy for real?

@kekemankek ........ For a warmer you sure are dumb. Oh, I'm sorry, I meant 'climate change'.... You can't call it 'global warming' anymore now can you? That's because the pseudo-scientists who have been peer reviewing themselves got caught taking money for research and cooking the books.

    You stupid pathetic ignorant asshole.

  • Keep watching Fox News, they've informed you quite well, it seems.

  • I want too be his student aswell, lol :)

  • what the fuck does wtf stand for?

  • WHATHE???

  • I googled the answer and will try to explain it best I can:

What burns in the candle flame is very hot wax vapours.

Wax must be very hot vapour in order to burn.

After the candle is blown out, there isn't enough heat for the wax vapour to burn. But there is still wax vapour on the wick. So it leaks out (the smoke we see).

This smoke needs heat to burn, and that heat is provided by the match. The wax then heats and burns, the flame falls into the candle and lights it up again.

  • thanks for the explanation i was a little confused at first :)

  • it's like a metaphor for jesus and the love of god, and angels and stuff

just kidding i wanted to see if i could start a religious debate where none previously existed

    lulz

  • This video completly disproves evolution of species! That settles it!

  • re:kriptonis

you cannot disprove that i am unable to prove that you're wrong! see! prove it! jesus loves you even if you don't love him! ba ha ha ha

  • @kriptonis how?

  • @kriptonis

Was this a facetious comment? Were those 15 thumb-ups aware of this while I am not? I am confused.

  • @mwtillotson if you are asking about my comment about evolution of species. Yes it's was a joke :P

I believe I was answering @planetdarwin's comment about this being a metaphor for jesus and angels :D

  • @kriptonis

Ah, I gotcha'. Thanks for the clarification. Didn't mean to dig up such an old comment, I was just curious.

  • Or did you just prove that there must be a god. As no religious debate existed before it must have always been here...or somthing?

  • re: Cloudwolf40

as the claim-maker you must first prove that the debate was created by me and then disprove that i never proved what you didn't disprove! and anyways, I have faith that your comment will get a thumbs up even if you don't.

  • I love doing that. I have never gotten it to work over that much of a distance though.

Magic tricks are always more fun when they are NOT magic and NOT tricks.

  • true dat

  • Ok I get it. The smoke ignites because it still contains combustibles from the wick and follows it down.

  • Was that a drop of water?

  • Greg, neat video. i'm guessing it's for your students. Not too keen on the 10,00 views thing though.

  • its cool

  • @FmMan33 Don't be a dick. It looks cool either way.

  • that was cool

  • What am I supposed to do, watch it everyday? It is unlikely that you will have 10000 views. As a subscriber I am not feeling valued by this approach.

  • lol phenomenal! hahahaha

  • Bom... bom... bom... BOM!

  • I remember the apple candle he had in the terrifying video. I thought that was pretty funny

  • What fascinating chemistry?

Why 10,000 views to find out that hot wax evaporates and forms a rising flammable mixture with the air?

  • @prhughes0 Yeah, that's obviously knowledge everyone is already born with. Dumbasses.

  • Next to man himself, the chemistry of a flame burning in any oxidizing atmosphere is the most complex in the universe. 10,000 species of chemicals and more form and are burned. Where do you think fullerines were discovered? Fascinating, indeed... but common as, well, a candle flame.

  • like you ?

  • @detriplea

Yeah, you would know a lot about that.

  • Old and simple trick, but it does look cool ;]

  • Please explain.

  • Oh, I think I get it, so small particles of unburnt wick are carried up in the smoke and heat, after the candle has been burnt out, eventually leaving a flamable trail leading back to the wick?

  • Sounds plausible, first time I ever seen this trick, and from now on I'll relight my candles like this just because I can :P

  • That's awesome. Cool stuff. Never seen that before, never knew it could happen :D

  • yeh, explain

  • I'm interested. Explain.

  • It's a metaphor. Reigniting the light of knowledge where it has been snuffed out by blowhards.

  • I think you're reading too much into it xD

Nonetheless, a cool trick =D I saw this once in a chemistry lesson, but I was at the back so it was much cooler here =D

  • but you were much cooler then.. being in the back and all :)

  • lol... i was a real rebel Dx the classrooms were tiny though (about 9 students per class), so sitting at the back wasn't that far away really O.o

i wanna try this candle trick now

  • @zemborato

I don't think he meant it to be a metaphor

  • Ha, this was already described in a little booklet with magic tricks from Houdini that must already be more than 50 years old now, but I never actually saw anybody do this.

  • Kick ASS!

  • candle science as a candle in the dark...

  • old trick :P

  • Welcome back, Greg!

Btw, despite being the simplest pyrotechnics from your earlier tour de force, this was always my favorite. I suspect you can guess the reason.

  • I'll bet a Silver Dollar this is going to be used as an example of how carbon is somehow bad.

I (kind of) know where he is going with this. But we'll have to just wait and see.

  • Umm...No.

  • I am assuming that there's an ignition of the trail in the air?

  • Warlock! Kill him! I kid......

  • i don't know the exact explanation, but basically, the re-ignition of the candle from such a distance is possible, because the flame lights fire to the carbon in the smoke trail. The fire then follows the smoke back to the candle, lighting the wick once again.

  • heh..pretty straight forward :P

  • Real mature, PerennialLucidity.

  • Amazing! I need to try it

  • cool :)

  • Ok, explanation please.

  • Nice.

  • what's the explanation?

  • why am I a idiot?
