Does anyone know what placebos are known to work for?! I mean obviously they don't cure aids or cancer or heal shot wounds, so what is it they are good for?

Aches, pains, nausea etc.

Let's say you have a recurring stomach ache with no known physical cause, it may be the case that you are worrying about your stomach and the frequent discomfort, which in turn, forces you to concentrate on the area and experience phantom symptoms.

A placebo would put your mind at ease and bingo.. Better belly.

Fun fact; my username is based around the singer of a band called Placebo.

Because the vigilante actions of the lead character struck such a chord with a gun toting American culture they became hugely popular at the time. Michael Winner confused the exploitation of emotionally charged groups and situations with actual creative talent and proceeded to act like gods gift to the movie industry or anything else he waddled towards and was then regarded as a complete twat.

I just tried to play one of the 5-past language series, and appearently it's not allowed in my country (Norway), so I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart, even though it did get you in trouble. I'm so sorry to hear about that, but you did make one norwegian lady very happy. Keep doing what you're doing. I don't care of the XL episodes are split in three, four, nineteen or whatever... You do a great service to us all.
