I do not like the idea of comparing the Deceiver with Cegorach. Both of course have this deceiving and gleeful attidute, but the Laughing God is still - as I'd point it - maybe the "goodest" being in the entire 40k universe, while the deceiver is certainly not. @SELECTARR: That couldn't be truer because the Weaver of Faith or the Architect of Faith(Tzeentch)controls the faith of all beings. All not serving under Tzeentch are doomed lol. Don't take me wrong though, I find Khorne much more satisfying than Tzeentch, although Tzeentch does count as my 3d favorite Chaos God ^^. Nurgle as my 2nd bc all fears him. Slaanesh is my fourth and least favored Chaos God(don't find him that powerful).
@pricture This is Warhammer 40k. To say one thing is less evil than another is to say that someone is less human than someone who weighs 20 lbs more than them.
Humans might learn something from the Eldar, but they don't in their ignorance, and so they are heading full speed for the same terrible finality the Eldar race has, but it will likely be much more terrible. They've already trapped themselves in some sort of eternal hell. And the Gods that turn them upon themselves are their own making.
Yeah, that, from what I understand, is exactly what they did. The strongest and most produced energy from humanity's existence poured into the Warp and manifested itself into these beings, that wanted to finish the cycle somehow by consuming humanity, and of course by their nature the rest of the universe. Nice. You capture one of my favorite things about the Eldar; the absolute screaming horror of their situation. Their gods dead or powerless, their empire sucked into the Eye of Terror, the Necrons and the Tyranids closing in from all sides, and when they die, the Chaos god they created with their decadence devours their souls. And they know it, because their farseers can see the future.

I feel my self greatly and pleasently reminded of the "Dance without end" short story that appeared in the White Dwarf magazine (and not only because you quoted it)

And that is why I will always love Harlequins. Fighting evil without restrain and being badass beyond belief.
It requires A LOT of imagination and creativity to compile something THAT atmospheric, by using only voices and sounds (w/ additional music). Definitelly, much more than making music videos or Tributes.

The Laughing God is one of the two sole survivors of the Eldar pantheon (the other being Khaine) because his mocking nature distanced him from the decadence and corruption of Slaanesh. That's why the cackling voices are laughing at everything everyone says in this track, from the Fall of the Eldar to the great lie that is the Emperor.

Humans might learn something from the Eldar, but they don't in their ignorance, and so they are heading full speed for the same terrible finality the Eldar race has, but it will likely be much more terrible. They've already trapped themselves in some sort of eternal hell. And the Gods that turn them upon themselves are their own making.
I do love the Eldar. :D

Yeah, that, from what I understand, is exactly what they did. The strongest and most produced energy from humanity's existence poured into the Warp and manifested itself into these beings, that wanted to finish the cycle somehow by consuming humanity, and of course by their nature the rest of the universe. Same with the Chaos god Slaneesh, created by the Eldar, and is the reason they are on the verge of extinction. Google it with Lexicanum. Im bit noob, on40k so any1 correct me.

He reminds me a of King....laughing like mad while his executioners(harlequins and so on) are torturing his enemies(Chaos)...nothing can be more pathetic or amusing than seeing someone who was like an Almighty Bull...screaming in despair..after making so many souls suffer...well...at least that is what the vid is telling me :D

@Elround4: Ynnead is only destined to defeat Slaanesh(or so it says atleast) but there is no fact that Ynnead is destined to defeat the other gods aswell. Btw, neither race shall ever be victorious over one and another, not Eldar over Dark Eldar vice/versa, not Imperium over Chaos vice/versa,not Tau over Necrons vice/versa,etc. Because that would mean the end of 40k universe and I'm very certain that Games Workshop won't make this happen in any(if ever at all)time soon.

You may tihnk i"m bluffing but to me it looks like the Gods of Chaos mean nothing to him...it is as like they are playing by His game..or so to speak..This God is clearly more scary than the Chaos Gods...it is like he is the only one who can clearly seee what will become of them...this Laughing God is like an Edemon(good deamon)...it"s likee he cannot stand that satisfaction..that feeling can be hard to describe

The way the Eldar God laughs...it"s interesting...it is as they can"t scare him...he is mocking them...it"S like The Laughing God is mocking and laughing of their very existence...it"s like their words are morely..worthless to him..it"s like he is terorizing them...and many of those idiots(chaos and other) don"t even realize until it"s too late...Slaneshh reminds me a little of Chronus..but he was defeated..and the trickster of Zeus..who ran away to grow..gather strengh

Nice. You capture one of my favorite things about the Eldar; the absolute screaming horror of their situation. Their gods dead or powerless, their empire sucked into the Eye of Terror, the Necrons and the Tyranids closing in from all sides, and when they die, the Chaos god they created with their decadence devours their souls. And they know it, because their farseers can see the future.

You guys are getting it wrong. The laughing god and the necron deciever are the ones believed to be the same. Slaanesh is different.

The deciever is a C'tan. The C'tan are material creatures.
The laughing god is..... well a god.

I feel my self greatly and pleasently reminded of the "Dance without end" short story that appeared in the White Dwarf magazine (and not only because you quoted it)
"He looked at the triumphant form of Slaanesh atop the mound of writhing dancers, and he laughed. He looked at the Mime-Daemons and the Death Jesters as they bore down upon him. And he laughed."
And that is why I will always love Harlequins. Fighting evil without restrain and being badass beyond belief.

This is just beyond epicness.
It requires A LOT of imagination and creativity to compile something THAT atmospheric, by using only voices and sounds (w/ additional music). Definitelly, much more than making music videos or Tributes.
Your work only proves that. Even more, your work is epic - BUT... it's an uncomparable level of epicness.

Thank you. I love to tell stories with these clips. This one isn't one of the more obvious stories, and that's what made it fun to compile. All the other factions were rather straightforward and people easily guess the story. This is one of the more...philosophical clips. =D

incredibly awesome wanna give some lore behind it? Iunderstand that slaanesh destroyed the pantheon but I dont know much about the laughing god.

The Laughing God is one of the two sole survivors of the Eldar pantheon (the other being Khaine) because his mocking nature distanced him from the decadence and corruption of Slaanesh. That's why the cackling voices are laughing at everything everyone says in this track, from the Fall of the Eldar to the great lie that is the Emperor.
