  • Do many americans prefer the britain english?

(I'm from Chile. Sorry if I didn't ask well)

  • @ryuryky I do, alot of them think its lame though.

  • agree

  • @AleksPrada If I may ask you: Why do you need to change your English into British English? :D

  • @TimPosible Because I love it! When I watch a film in american english, I understand almost everything, but I don't understand the britain english :)

  • @AleksPrada That's a great idea. I like British English more than American English, but my English teachers mostly spoke American English so my English sounds more American than British and I want to change that too. :)

  • @AleksPrada Me too

  • @AleksPrada

  • great!!!!

  • Nice to hear Nick Drake in the video. I'm not a native English speaker, but I prefer the different accents spoken in the UK more than the accents in the USA.

  • John nd Teacher..Thank very much x

  • thanks for the video i'm practising my pronunciation, im an English student from Spain :)

  • Just a pointer -

In British English, we spell it as Practicing, with a C instead of an S, which is the American way. It's the same for defence. And also remember to put U's in Colour instead of the American Color. Just thought I'd point it out if you intend to use British English.

  • thanks

  • I feel scammed. My teachers all taught me that practice is a noun and practise is a verb!!! RARGH.

  • Hey John!

What is the song in the beginning of this video?

  • 'River Man' by Nick Drake - on the album 'Five Leaves Left'

  • thanks Troy!

i used your video to teach my student's English and she's a Chinese!

  • Thank you guys, please do other video like this!

  • nice nice and very helpful

  • thanks teachaaa troy!!.. :-)..

  • im confused :S whats the diferent to say : "eat" /it/(verb) , and "it"(third person)?? is not the same?

  • It isn't the same, you have to pronounce eat on this way: [I:T] it's a long vowel. The personal pronoun 'it' has a short vowel, on this way: [IT]

  • I find it harder to understand many British//English.

  • i have a question when you pronounce a letter "T" how you need to keep your tongue it to sound more right ? :)

  • the place of articulation British t,d,n is the so called alveolar ridge. this.. ridge! behind your teeth. this way of so to say operating your tongue changes a lot.

  • Thank you so much for your helpful efforts.

you are the best english teacher, I have ever seen. I'm learning english with your perfect videos...

  • teach me more! I want to dominate this rather than my mexican english accent :P
