Its a very good attempt. The best advice i can give you is to maybe desaturate the colour of the tardis a little, make the shadow less black and more see through.
Try colouring the whole shot to give it a bit of feeling.
I realise this is only a test but if you do decide to take this further then try out my suggestions

Not bad, textures need a little more detail, otherwise good job
