I won't give to much details.

It was made by a french luthier, walnut body with flammed mapple top and back, african ebony fretboard, mapple neck. Schaller bridge and tuners.

Has anyone else heard that Ernie Ball Bongo Basses are the best non-Wal basses (aside from this replica apparently) at imitating a 'Chancellor-esque' sound? Can anyone prove or refute that claim?
