An actual STARGATE/PORTAL-THING was caught on film in New Mexico. The footage can be found within the short-film entitled "SUDDEN PORTHOLE", which is parked at the PROJECT CAMELOT YouTube page (it's under the George Noory video).
I'm not selling anything…I'm just trying to spread the word about the unseen-dimensions we find ourselves embedded in.
My BLOG contains peripheral data regarding the movie and is where I reply to the "debunkers" (use search words "SAM ZURICK" & "BLOG"). THANKS!!
The is much respect and admiration for those that edited on film, but good god how tedious. The brilliance of editing digitally (or even by tape) is the quick turn around time between when you think of a sequence of shots to assembling them to see the result. And especially seeing if it works or not. I can not imagine going through all that one must go through editing a sequence on film and then realizing that it does not work and needs to be redone. Much respect to those who edit on film.
such a cool guy. his interviews are actually what he is like. he is so amazingly smart and witty. he got as far as he is because he is such a great thinker.
Coolest thing I think is one of my friends asked me for his number, he was SO nervous, so I called for him and said "hey, gus, lets hang out this weekend!" and he said "alright, that'd be great, give me a call on saturday" and unfortunately I couldnt make it, but my friend said he didnt even mind that he didnt know my friend! lol so cool
I 've cut film & 3/4 tape and I hated everyday cutting 3/4 & some days of cutting film. While there is an alchemy feeling to it(film ), there's no way in hell I'm going back to it or tape.
Elephant was done on film? Big suprise! Film and tapes have much more soul in them then digital video and audio. It's true that you can do anything with analog methods that digital can, it just takes longer.

So, there is this thing called non linear editing...
I get the romantics of this, but hey... let's go avid or fcp when doing features

@boudstyle it's not like the movie would have been any better if he use a NLE. this is just his process

@braden11ton
I disagree, would be the same as saying you can't drive around the monaco grand prix better then in a 1974 porsche.
